When Tard was in court it was available on zoom, its not that uncommon. Judge can decide to make courts physical and virtual public, Being a plaintiff and defendant on zoom, thats a little rarer and was a covid thing, but everyone else, yeah, remote viewing is possible.

I hear you. This thread is my view into the hellscape that my life could have been if I hadn't matured past the age of fifteen (and was a mall goth). It's atrocity tourism at it's very best. As much as I dislike all of the bullshit I'm dealing with (now down to two jobs!), I can't imagine living the way these people do in their fucking 40s. That's just sad. Also homosexual.

I’ve always wanted to rent a big RV and travel all around the US to all the little quaint towns from like Maine to Washington. Do you remember a tv show called Tales From The Darkside? My parents watched that show when I was a kid and I LOVED it. I’ve always wanted to go to eerie places like those featured in the intro. You know, cozy but also kinda creepy?

@Sekhmet666 you don’t need to defend yourself to a bunch of randos on the internet, but a little graciousness goes a long way when when you’re asking for a helping hand. I’m not into substances myself apart from caffeine. Not to say that I haven’t dabbled and enjoyed, but it never seemed like a good idea long-term.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with a little weed though if it helps you cope as long as it doesn’t become a part of how you define yourself. That seems to be where people get tripped up. Their vice just overtakes their personality ultimately destroying them and thats how you end up like Luna Slater or Tarl Warwick. Check her thread out sometime. It’s a wild ride.

I can see why you might prefer to stay in Rutland. It seems like a little sleepy small town. Plus, you already have a job there and a car. You just need to find a little
place to live. I hope you will prioritize self-sufficiency and I hope the kind farmers will help you facilitate that first step, but I don’t think you should feel pressured to leave town if you really like it unless of course you don’t feel you’d be able to control yourself if you happen to see Sam and Tarl walk into the market together without going full windmill mode on the two of them.

I think you’re fairly self-aware and have a decent head on your shoulders, so I sincerely hope that this experience has taught you a lesson in trusting low value men. I wonder now if you’re still looking to be submissive in relationships? If you are, my advice is still get really good at sussing out future fakers. IIRC this isn’t the first time you’ve trusted the wrong man and that is why it’s so important for you to have your shit together and be self-sufficient in case you should trust the wrong man again. Ya know?

Best of luck and I hope you’re able to spin this experience into some type of YouTube thing where you at least get to tell your side of the story because that would be funny!

Most of those were filmed in Ottawa as memory serves. I bought the series from Hamilton Books for like $20. It didn't age very well. There were a couple of decent episodes, overall - like one where a guy could alter reality by writing it into a wordprocessor - basically the same underlying story as John Candy's Delireous.

I want to go see Shell Beach before I die, personally. The city from "In the mouth of madness" was brilliantly put together, even if rarely seen.

Holy fuck, $20,000? That's A LOT of money instantly needed by a guy that's supposedly making 6-figures and, by his own account, is "doing fine, babe". I doubt it'll even reach 40-45% of that goal, but no matter what he gets, Styx will surely have it spent the second he gets his dirty pirate hands on it.
