I really hope Tarl doesn't kill himself.
I mean, his guns are being held at a local gun shop, iirc he stored them, and had to get a notary on the placement. So unless he's going to use his machete (a self respecting pirate would have a Cutlass, he's more of a buccaneer, but he couldn't hunt a boar). Unless he uses the Rackets method and just eats rat poison, didn't they make antifreeze less sweet so people wouldn't accidentally ingest it?

Yeah, its a conundrum. On one hand, it was hard watch while Tard gave up his Aryan princess Liz, whom rumor has it was heir to a fortune around shoe manufacturing, who was physically fit and the mother of his child, and give up his daughter and his life in The Netherlands for a nightmare in Rutland
But at this point, him actually offing himself would be an impressive feat. He never had any real jobs, only one for UVA, he is a drop out, a failed jewTuber (breaking into the near-big time only to self sabotage and fail out), a child abandoner, a nigger rich blow all his six-figs on witches, weed and alcohol, a wife and woman beater, a fucking moron that had an ND with a Glock and then thought he could gaslight the world into believing he Glock failed. The "man"/Peter Pan Puer Aeternus Tarl - killing himself would be way too much competence.
He has female BPD brain elements, and men are 80+% successful while women suicides are mostly failed. I think Tard's BPD-female-brain components wouldnt allow him to have the willpower to actually off himself.
Tard is too much of failed piece of shit to be able to off himself.

Dont need firearm to do it, either, but it helps.

Completed (fatal/successful) suicides - US/2023

Firearms ~55.3% (leading method; ~60-61% in men, ~35% in women)

Suffocation/hanging (including strangulation/asphyxiation) ~24.4%

Poisoning (including drug overdose, other toxic ingestion, gases) ~9-12% (varies slightly by source; higher in women at ~30%)

Other methods (combined ~8.2%) This catch-all includes (in rough descending order of frequency from various studies and partial breakdowns):
Jumping from heights
Drowning
Sharp instruments/cutting or piercing
Contact with moving objects (e.g., trains/vehicles)
Fire/burning/smoke
Blunt force/impact
Other/unspecified (e.g., electrocution, starvation, refusal of medical care)

Non-fatal suicide attempts (no complete national ranking exists; data from ED/hospital surveys, NSDUH, and studies show patterns dominated by lower-lethality methods):

Poisoning/overdose (mostly drugs/ingestion) — most common (~50-70% in many reports)

Cutting/sharp instruments (self-laceration)

Suffocation/hanging (attempted but survived)

Firearms are very rare in attempts (~5% or less) due to high lethality (~90% fatal if attempted).

Lethality ranking (case fatality rates from meta-analyses/systematic reviews, e.g., ~89-90% for firearms, etc.):
Firearms (~89-90%)

Hanging/suffocation (~52-85%, varies by study)

Drowning (~56-80%)

Gas poisoning (~57%)

Jumping (~47%)

Drug/liquid poisoning (~8%)

Cutting/sharp instruments (~1-4%)

If you are a no-gunner, suicide can be done via:
Hanging - if you dont get the long drop right, this will probably be pretty painful.
Drowning - get loaded up on booze, get a cinder block, and toss yourself off a bridge. Wont be pleasant
Gas poisoning - good one - especially if you can get nitrogen/helium and a positive pressure suit - that will be painless. Gassing yourself with car exhaust fumes works too, but it smells bad.
Jumping from high places - better be real high and head first or this will suck. Bodies on the ground seem to quiver a lot longer than you think, agonal breathing, the works.
High speed train impact - if you do this right, its lights out. But you look like a bunch of meaty dog food.

Recommendation? Nitrogen tank and a positive pressure suit. Clean too. No pain. And if you manage to get saved its either no damage or brain dead. Lots of guides online on nitrogen/inert gas asphyxiation. Cool part is as long as you can exhale CO2 the body doesnt go into panic mode, the cant breathe panic is from CO2 buildup, not lack of oxygen. And you can prep yourself to look good dead.

I figured his method would be hanging himself from a door handle, just to baffle us all one last time.

Don't do it, Tarl. Life is long and it can change a lot.

Post in thread 'StyxHexenhammer666 / Tarl Warwick'

I love how this thread is a juxtaposition of itself.

More of his Dunning-Kruger crap. I've listened to him for a decade, and as somebody who's been in the field longer than he's been alive, I assure you he has no idea how much he doesn't know. Not even an old vet like me would make the wild-ass assumptions he makes, much less attempt to speak them ex cathedra.

I'm convinced that he must have asked Grok about his alcoholism and it must have replied that at the trajectory that he was going that he was likely to die an early death.
He likely decided to extrapolate things and came up with this death within weeks business. I don't think he realizes that the human body is a lot more resilient than he thinks, especially at his relatively young age.

Okay, weird theory but I was watching a clip from KC last night and noticed all the mentions of Fallout. Is it possible that Styx has been larping as a Minuteman this whole time and went with the pirate thing because it was actually less cringy and retarded than cosplaying as a character faction from Fallout 4? I mean, it would fall in line with his usual lolbertarian political takes and Tarl likes the taste of dick.

I agree I don't want him to die but facing 16 years in prison, for someone who cannot tolerate the slightest discomfort, with too many idiosyncrasies to survive in any other environment but their parents' home, I get it. I will pray for him, and since I know he would mock that, I'm glad God sent him Sam to provide a little early purgatory.

Also having an Negligent Discharge with a Glock is like accidentally microwaving your own head. You HAD to be doing something you're not supposed to.

Anyone that queries AI and takes it seriously without verifying deserves the consequences.

Unless you were nursing a 12 year old, I have a hard time believing that a teething baby bit so fast and also hard that your nipple started gushing blood and the only thing you could do to stop it was punch the kid
She didn't specify, the blood was from the kid she just punched. Sam's got a mean right cross

Long drop is impractical for most people unless you can somehow actually construct a gibbet. So-called "soft hanging" is much more reliable. Sort of like how David Carradine died (autoerotic asphyxia) but on purpose.
Gassing yourself with car exhaust fumes works too, but it smells bad.
Modern emissions requirements, like catalytic converters, have reduced the amount of carbon monoxide cars emit to the point this method is no longer practical unless you have a really old car or mod it. A hibachi in an enclosed place like a car, though, still does the trick.

The major problem with methods like this, though, are that they present a serious danger to first responders and other people likely to find you.

He's already a cutter for attention. I could see him setting the car on fire just for attention and his 14-year-old edginess despite it hurting others. Hell, he'd probably do it in his parents' "converted garage".

Agreed. Didnt think about how long the CO2 would take nowdays if you have a modern engine with all the post 2015 emissions.

I would get a nitrogen tank and a positive pressure suit.

Nitrogen is quite fast.

March 19, 1981: Shuttle Columbia’s First Fatalities

1981: Five technicians are asphyxiated while setting up a ground test for the space shuttle Columbia, then in preparation for STS-1, the first operational shuttle mission. Two of them die.

The accident occurred during a nitrogen purge of the orbiter. John Bjornstad, 50, one of the five Rockwell International technicians who entered a rear section of the orbiter above the engine, died en route to the hospital. The second fatality, Forrest Cole, died two weeks later.

The nitrogen purge was a routine procedure that used nitrogen to flush all the oxygen out of the engine compartment prior to test-firing, when any errant spark could touch off a fire. No oxygen = no possible fire.

Following a successful simulated countdown, the technicians were cleared by NASA safety supervisors to enter the compartment. Believing the conditions inside Columbia to be safe, they entered not wearing air packs. Because nitrogen is both odorless and colorless, the five men lost consciousness before realizing anything was amiss.

A sixth technician discovered them and alerted a security guard, who donned an air pack and dragged the victims from the compartment. Rescue efforts were further complicated when the ambulance responding to the emergency call was stopped and searched for seven minutes by security guards near the launch-pad perimeter at the Kennedy Space Center.

The front gate was unaware that anything had gone wrong inside.

Following a three-month investigation, a NASA board of inquiry concluded that a last-minute change in testing procedures, coupled with a breakdown in communications at the space center, caused the accident.

The two deaths were the first fatalities for the U.S. space program since Jan. 27, 1967, when astronauts Virgil Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee were killed when fire swept through their capsule during ground testing for the first Apollo mission.

The accident did not delay the scheduled launch of Columbia on April 12. The orbiter, commanded by Apollo veteran John Young and piloted by rookie Robert Crippen, returned Americans to space for the first time in nearly six years and kicked off the mostly successful space shuttle program.

But tragedy can bide its time — and often does in inherently risky ventures — and struck Columbia again on Feb. 1, 2003.
