I do find it somewhat sad that the reaction of the farms to a possible Tarl suicide would essentially be "Good", but the man does not produce wands or good smelling soap.
 
That actually isn't funny. I know you've been doing a countdown and it's at like four days, but if that is a court deadline Niks should bail the fuck out, just in case.

Through deception, envy, greed, self-indulgence, and even inaction, they have all chosen these miserable lives for themselves. Some have lost even their own children, and they live every day bitter, paranoid, and deluded, their minds filled with nonsense fit only to justify their cowardly and self-serving actions which have only brought them lower each time they've debased themselves and others.

Do not pity them. Learn from them. These people are living proof that the pursuit of personal comfort above all else will lead you to ruin.
