I think a couple of people have confused you with the actual black woman Tarl was with just before Elizabeth, but I have not seen thread regulars compare you to Elizabeth at all. Once again, a darker complected woman seems to be revealing her inferiority complex. It’s ironic because you would be classified as “white hispanic” or just straight up white if you were ever featured in the news. Fascinating how the exes, and even some thread regulars, react
when Elizabeth gets posted in here or even mentioned in a way that isn’t totally disparaging. If her character was exactly the same, but her skin was a little darker, would the people in this thread who are bristled by her existence feel differently about her?

Tbf that is impressive my language is awful to learn due to its close vicinity to english yet the incessant need to pronounce the letters completely different. Styx never had to learn because we all speak english (in a horrendous accent anyway) i'm glad he didn't learn the more reasons he had to leave the better!

I know people who picked up conversational Dutch in six months of immersion. Other than that beast of an "R," and syntax, it doesn't seem hard. But Tarl was probably the kind of non-gregarious shut-in who was still asking store clerks, "Why is the bathroom?" three years in.

You can do fine with a rolling R usually where i see people go wrong it's the G because the north pronounces it wrong where as the south pronounced it correctly in my unbiased opnion. And our combined letters oe,ui,au,ou. So if he manages to get that properly i'm reasonably impressed. In fact i'm so impressed he should take the woman he fucked out of my country as a reward.
