It's a toss-up for me, honestly.

Possadists are pretty high up there when it comes to comedic value, but for me part of the appeal lies in the contrast between the standard Orthodox Marxist rhetoric and the batshit insane conclusion that what the Proletariat really needs is a global thermonuclear holocaust (space comrades are also funny, but they're kind of tangential). When it comes to sheer batshit insanity, though, it's hard to top the Socialist Patient's Collective. There might be individual people out there with stranger ideas, but the SPK was an actual group with multiple members who shared a set of core beliefs so incomprehensibly bizarre that it can only be properly understood in its social and historical context. "Social and historical context" can mean a lot of things, but here, it means a goddamn mental hospital at the University of Heidelberg.

Possadism, for all its strangeness, is still traditionally Marxist and focused on class conflict between the Proletariat and the Bourgeoisie. The SPK, on the other hand, taught that mental illness was a result of contradictions under Capitalism and emphasized struggle between the Doctor and Patient classes, both of which you may recognize from Karl Marx's famous work Das Asspüll. I think it's somewhere between his detailed description of how the alienation of labor is the result of the Grey's ass-probing a major UK political party, and that bit about the workers of the world tucking their chains because this gone be a robbery when we pop out at yo party 'cause we with the gang. It's been awhile since I read it, though. Is present non-existent status in every Universe where the Roman Empire fell makes it hard to locate.

To be clear, I've seen some pretty spicy hot takes regarding mental illness from more orthodox Marxists before, and almost none of them stand up to even the most basic criticism. Being informed that BPD is actually a label used by the Bourgeoisie to pathologize Lumpenproletariat women by a random Redditor (who openly admitted having no diagnosed mental illness and no close ties to anyone with a known Axis-II disorder) feels like the Yin to "Mansplaining"'s Yang. Some people just love being confidently wrong about something they absolutely, categorically do not understand. Fuck grasping the radically different, subjective internal experience of another person who actually lives with mental illness, she unironically needs to read more theory if she thinks that Marx saw the Lumpenproletariat as a revolutionary class. The SPK, on the other hand, was very explicit in their belief that mental illness existed as an objective reality, which feels like it might have started out as an understandably pissed-off response to attempts by young adults with no psychiatric training or personal experience dealing with mental illness to misapply Post-Marxist philosophical analysis to literally fucking everything. Their conclusion that Brain AIDS is always a result of Capitalist tensions muddies the waters, though, and the idea of "Turning Illness into a Weapon" against the "Doctor Class" just sounds like screaming at some poor med aide who only wants to give you your crazy pills and then leave. That's not what it means, though. I'm very familiar with both Marxism and Post-Modernism, and I can't figure out what it  does mean, but I'm pretty sure it's not that. My guess is that it means the group's founder was at or near the peak of a Manic episode when the phrase popped into his head, thought that it sounded clever as fuck at the time, and managed to string together a series of words in the style of Derrida (who I actually don't hate, but dear God did that man love writing shit that didn't have one single correct interpretation) to convince himself that it made sense.

It absolutely fucking does not. SPK revolutionized Schizoposting. Long live the SPK.

It must be a slow inner death for a disciplined and competent Marine to watch his son develop into an irrational character exhibiting his worst impulses to the world sitting in in a room full of dollies. It must gall him to see his son unable to sustain a normal relationship in order to raise a small girl. I feel sorry for this Marine chef, especially when he's out there mowing the lawn as his son examines his own bellybutton lint on camera and gets pissy about the mower noise.

Edit: Tarl seems proud of his father's service and fond of the Marines, but you know, Tarl never achieved that, his father did. His father put it all on the line for his country. Tarl .... dabbled in Etsy magic and aims petards at women. Or guns. Allegedly.
