He's partly right. Whenever he popped up on my youtube recommendations a while ago, I selected the "Don't recommend this channel" option; and people doing it more so lately because of his recent actions.

At the end of the day though, the ultimate issue for him is that: MAGA christian voters, don't want to give money or watch a guy, who worships an owl god and does "magic" with period blood.

Tarl probably hasn't figured that maybe it's the people telling the algorithm he sucks. Who's to say! Probably subversive magic or him not commanding mother hard enough.

As bad as Tarl is, I'm beginning to see Laylithe as the greater evil between them (perhaps the fact that her name is practically Lilith should have clued me to this earlier). Tarl's problems are well-documented and we all know what they are. To say the least, (profound) mistakes were made. He's gonna get raked over the coals in just over a week, but at least he *should* get his back pay from Jeremy. Jeremy has no excuse. Jeremy will have 7500 refunded, he WILL BE in a position to recompensate Styx his backpa, even if he has to leave another debt unattended to do so. Styx should still have money leftover after all fines are accounted for and, if he can ever just stop the fucking substance abuse, it isn't *impossible* for him to repair his situation (uphill cilimb, to say the least, but possible). If he can cap his wet brained bullshit, he can salvage the smallest of W's. Just stream the milquetoast political analysis, satiate the paypigs and start being at least somewhat smart with the money. Paypigging BPD whores, ain't it. Oh and button the fucking shirt.

He doesn't even have to have a full redemption arc, just a dilultion of his misbehaviors. If he just went from full retard to half retard, cut out the substance abuse and stopped chasing BPD pussy, he could pull off a surprise reversal. Then again, this is starting to sound like "This is How Bernie Could Still Win" and that isn't lost on me.
 
I watched styx since 2019. After viewing the Kino stream where they show the old him, I realized I forgot what Tarl even sounded like. I checked out a video of his from 18 months ago and it was night and day. He had energy, pep, passion, enthusiasm, (a wife), among other things. Like for fuck sake styx, there is actually a portion of your old viewerbase who wanted you to be a husband/parent/...adult!,, and were happy cause it seemed you were finally growing the fuck up after potentially years of being sober off booze and drugs.

I'm not saying you gotta turn to Christ, just fucking be semi normal. And maybe invest in sleep apnea shit, or a therapist who can prescribe. If nothing else, just switch to Coke so you don't fall asleep on stream.

As bad as he is, it's hard to want more punishment for a man who is penniless and living with mommy after 15 years and half a billion views. He's a thoroughly enraging person and it's good to see consequences for his bullshit, but I'm kind of looking at the situation and my desire for justice is more than filled at this point. He paypigged Laylithe and has had to travel thousands of miles on at least 3 occasions to pay for his idiocy. It isn't that I like him or have affection for him, but I want him to at least get healthy enough to somewhat fight back. I still maintain my position that he has to button his fucking shirt.

I see this take a lot in this thread that Styx actually used to be funny or made good video and he became the weirdo that he is over time but if you go back and watch his old videos from his peak of popularity around when Trump was elected the first time he was just as autistic, just as smug and just as much a cock sucker of Trump as he is now. He had some pretty good analysis and was right about a lot of things, or broadly right. His research was shit, but his intuition made up for much of it, and you had to occasionally remind yourself that he believed in nonsense and thought he could switch street lights off with ectoplasm or some shit. He occasionally put on a costume or turned himself into a fugly goth (when lovesick), but still cranked out timely product. He did everybody a solid by reporting as critically as he could on COVID, and warned people to prep for shortages, which did come. He saw and pointed out the fnords. As time passed, he seemed less substance-altered during his one-offs and became almost staid and workmanlike in his output during his time in NL. But right now, he's regressed and worsened and is something like a cornered Norma Desmond, lashing out at his critics with narcissistic rage. This morning he was flexing his supposed IQ. The secondhand embarrassment in the room was palpable.

Note - youtube very very quickly stopped pushing him into my feed, so he is right about the algos, but wrong about the reason. If someone unsubs from him he is fucking gone from the feed. So he has fucked around and found out. I used to go to his channel manually and fire off his videos even while subbed. I unsubbed and only for about 3-4 days did jewtube try and push him on me, then it gave up 100%.
He pissed off his core audience by being a drink faggot asshole deadbeat loser absentee father fuckstick who lives with mom and dad in a trailer sized shithole and instead of rising to the occasion he fucked around and found out.
Rutland is a fucking shithole (I get tired of him trying to sell it to the world), he should be ashamed, and he even gave up gardening.

To be fair, unless you have hoop houses and cold frames, serious gardening in Rutland is about a month off, but he should have started seeds inside by now and he says he hasn't.

My guess is that this hapless slob is so down, out, and addled right now that he couldn't plan or initiate a plate of scrambled eggs. He can only brag and theorize about frying eggs.

Whatever happened to that bit anyhow? I remember him basically saying that he was doing more to combat climate change than most just by making biochar and that we should all follow in his footsteps. That was around the time I dropped off in viewing his content. I scrolled through a couple of weeks of videos before I realized I'd be sitting there all night if I wanted to find it.

Gotta admit though, his stupid hat kinda makes me want to pick Greedfall back up.
