Suicide is never the answer because 1. it stops future content, but more importantly 2. suicide robs someone of the chance of redemption. I like a burning trainwreck as much as the next guy, but a full on redemption story is way more satisfying and always possible if very very very unlikely.

Because his blood is probably 80 proof by now and although he claims (mistakenly) that he's coherent while drunk, he realizes on some level that he can't produce product without making his sponsors reconsider their investment. So he's dipping out to cover his impaired state. Pretending to have intrinsic insomnia only washes a couple of times. Have any of his sponsors bailed out yet?

Tarl had (at least back when I was still watching him) a stable of people he would "shout out". It went from viewers sending him product for a shout out to I believe actual fiscal partnerships. The billtong was one, but there were several others at the time.
Here are his official sponsors. He mentioned a few weeks ago that he hasn't received any revenue for quite a while from one of his sponsors but he's not too worried about things like that. (I 90% think Wicked Needle Embroidery, but may have been Pumpkin or Websters)
