This is profoundly true, and SO MANY people seem to have a difficult time understanding this, particularly those of the "cow" variety.

At a certain point, it simply DOES NOT MATTER what your excuse is, what plights you're suffering. You can have problems at home, you can be disabled, you can be dying of cancer, and it simply doesn't matter, if you miss too much work, you're going to be fired. At a certain point, every employer needs a butt in that seat, doing the job you were hired to do, and if you can't do it, they'll find someone who will.

If you're really that sick, take family leave, so at least they can hire a temporary to do your work while you fix yourself. If your family drama is really so bad that it's spilling over into the workplace, maybe take some time off to deal with your issues, so you can A) come to work B) on time and C) do the job they hired you to do. If you can't do these three things, and you can't take a leave, expect to be fired. That's just the way business works. They can find a healthy person with no drama to do the job just as easily as they found you.

Oh yea- if you're experimenting, sure. A couple of acid/shrooms trips in high school or college generally won't have lasting ramifications. However, your point about "doing too much too young" is accurate.

I had a neighbor in my mid-twenties who did too many shrooms too often from a young age, and at 23 years old he believed that his half-Cherokee grandfather had been a werewolf who didn't die, he just didn't transform back into human form, and that his whole family line possessed the "wolf spirit." You used to see him light a fire in the backyard in the middle of the night (in the city of Atlanta, btw) and literally howl at the moon- his roommate ended up having to kick him out, lmao.

Keep in mind, he was a white kid who did have Native American ancestry up the line, but he was raised in the fucking suburbs and just happened to get caught up with delinquents/ started using shrooms regularly in high school. Eighty percent of the time he'd seem totally normal, act normal, and then something would trigger that pathway in his brain, and he'd start going on about transforming into a wolf and "family secrets" and then walk off down the street barefoot- total delusion right under the surface.

I'm not well versed in how often Styx used acid/shrooms or how early, but it could definitely exacerbate any high-functioning meltdown/ obsessions to the point where it becomes full on delusion.

I remember watching him some years ago, and he was getting married, then I cut all political stuff on youtube and today I discovered here that he is getting a divorce.
What happened?
Also is he going to a trial? why?

He did get married, moved to the Netherlands, had a kid, then showed back up in the States a few years later, haranguing about drug dealers and how they should try messin' with him now that he's back with his guns. He refused to elaborate further, then brought @Laylithe on a livestream a couple months later, groped her titty in front of thousands of viewers, then went with her on vacation to NOLA and then got charged with domestic battery.

In other words, typical lolcow stuff. You arrived just in time to watch his descent further into hilarity and insignificance.
 
I just want to post this again. Just saw styx on Quartering Live, and he said he was charged with something "for no reason" and compared himself to a January Sixer wrongfully imprisoned. Then Jeremy said something about perjury and Tarl decided to stop talking due to being an active case.

With his ex-wife he she shoved her and she fell down and bruised her back while pregnant. We have a picture earlier in this thread. I think he also threated his ex-wife with a bladed weapon.

With this current court case, he threw Laylith's cellphone and hit her in the ribs. We have a photo, but we don't really see any bruising. Laylith said she reported this to have a record in case Styx escalates again. She reported prior physical abuse including holding a physical gun to her head and threatening her.

There are MULTIPLE accounts of prior exs being threatened with bladed weapons (knives, daggers, swords). You might call this a pattern.
