I disagree. A little eye-baggage is to be expected at 36. He's got good skin and hair, which is all the more impressive considering his sedentary lifestyle.
Time can hit people like a punch to your girlfriend's face but for now, Tarl looks as good as we can reasonably expect of him.

What do you mean by not popular enough? He has over 500k subscribers and is buddies with Jeremy Hambeast the Quarterpoundering. Youtube sent him a button which he proudly displays in the background of his videos. Not every lolcow is a celebrity. In terms of online status and e-popularity, Styx is near the Chris Chan's level. It's worth keeping an eye on him especially after the elections. We'll see if he goes back to hitting the bottle, if he praises or blames the owl on the election results, and any bad predictions he made

They've been purposely ignored throughout most of this thread and it seems that a lot of anime freaks are posting on here.
There was that one person coming up in here trying to diagnose everyone with mental illnesses, but I realized the person could have been mentally retarded or Tarl, because of their apples-to-oranges comparisons.
To those hiding behind an anime avatar, their input is not valued on this topic, because they do not live in the real world.
Inuyasha was okay to watch in middle school, but I was in middle school...was an okay manga series.
When I was a child, I used to watch Dragon Ball Z, but now I realize how cringe it was, though I can still appreciate the pink villain with the chocolate obsession.
The concept of a lot of anime shows becomes even creepier as you mature into an adult.

He's explained that he saw an owl or a shadow of an owl as a child and he knew it was some spirit contacting him. He found out that Stolas is an "owl demon" and defaulted to "it must be them!" However, even working within the framework of his beliefs, Stolas isn't the only demon who sends owls to people as Lilith is also believed by to utilize owls to send messages to people. It's the equivalent of seeing a fly as a child and deciding Ba'al Zebub is beckoning you.
Tarl's Occult knowledge isn't as strong as he likes to boast either. He had a recent video that I thought judging by the title was going to be about whether Donald Trump is working with Covens, but instead it turned into him trying desperately to dunk on Reddit witches. One of the things that stuck out as a major blunder was his explanation that "spells are words spoken with intention" because the word we use for "spellbooks" is "grimoire" and grimoire means "grammar." He doesn't seem to know that all Latin texts were called grimoires in France, and its usage in this Occult context didn't arise until the 18th century. It's especially hilarious because he makes this point immediately after criticizing the "Reddit witches" for getting their knowledge from sources as recent as the 18th century.
I'm not even sure how he could make such a mistake unless he's heavily embellishing his knowledge.

Since I realize Tarl is using the short bus to excuse bad behavior, I thought I would share his story about being a sped.
He claimed it was for behavioral issues the school was not equipped to deal with.
Tarl claimed that he was going against the teachers and they got tired of his shit.
He had no academic issues otherwise than what would be graded as "professionalism."
Makes sense, as his only sorta real job was at his school library for a short time, but he fucked that up too.
Keep in mind that schools in the US often would place ADHD students alongside special ed students, up until the 2010's.
We should address his spice overdose or the fact that he has been struck by lightning.
Maybe nature just hates him.
