For me the nosebleed is the only really incertain part, the opening edit is just bad optics (because it’s an edit, even if minimal). But compared to the audio clip and shared texts, it’s really a detail (I don’t really care who ‘started it’, they’re both pretty gross), and speaking of thread focus, it’s quite convenient for discussion to focus on the nose instead of the insane whiplash of going from smug stolas to that groveling message, commanding mothers and begging to be given yet another chance to fuck things up…

I'm pretty convinced that the audio is real. There's real emotion there and the shit he says in it is pretty spot on. I could always be wrong but gut instinct is really leaning that way.

I agree on the AI thing. I like to listen to a lot of short stories and old books on youtube while I'm doing whatever and I've noticed that there's been a huge trend of these youtube channels using AI to crank out that sort of thing. All of a sudden every 1940s weird tales story has a full audio recording of it. Sometimes the AI does a good job of it so I can't complain too much but after the first minute you can tell. Usually fucks up dialog, hasn't picked up the nuances of the exclamation point and the context behind it for example.

They're definitely going to say shit about the forum being full of lies and being easily tricked though. That's been in the Sektur playbook for a long time. People that want to believe that probably will and keep those donos coming. Doesn't really matter though, the truth usually manages to rear it's ugly head in time, probably when we see what the police have to say about the arrest.

That's not the interesting part of this mess right now anyway. It's how weird the entire shit show is to me. This weird demon worshiping dork finds success making videos aggregating positive articles about Donald Trump gets arrested and all of a sudden his thread is filled with new accounts. Some are rabid and really excited for Styx to be thrown in a box forever, some come off as a pretty reasonable. Then we get this video that's equally bizarre, with some people taking it as fact and others doubting it entirely. Really though, right now the only people that know what really happened is Styx and his mistress, everything else is a mystery.

I agree, the video reeks of gayops to me. The odd way it's edited seems disingenuous to me. Tarl's gayass rant with no actual video seems like it's probably real, the rest seems staged or out of context.

Samantha's pouty lips under the bloody nose really strikes me wrong, as does the color of the blood, the blood only coming from one nostril, and the lack of tears or bruises. It just doesn't look like what happens from an injury. It may be a genuine bloody nose from other causes.

Last time I got cracked in the nose hard enough for it to bleed, I had instant uncontrollable tears, a gaping open mouth due to mouth breathing, and under-eyes bruises forming within minutes. Plus my nose wasn't even broken. I find the bloody nose still photo unconvincing.

Bleeding from a broken vessel lower down in the nose doesn't gush and isn't as darkly colored. Speaking from experience, takes a glancing blow that doesn't fully connect with the nose. Doesn't hurt as bad as actually breaking your nose either. But I don't doubt she's capable of faking it.

Samantha's lips are swollen from crying, her mouth is full of phlegm, her makeup is smeared. If there's anything in this video I don't think is faked, it's that she was crying.
