I wonder what finally did them in on their trip to New Orleans. A chance to visit the parents.

Did Samantha ask "Where is this relationship going?" and didn't get the answer she expected?

Was Tarl literally flirting with other girls on his phone while he was on the can?

Had a husband. Got divorced last year. I think he has custody of the kids.

Everything likely started to fall apart last fall when Styx flew back to Vermont from Europe for some family thing. That's probably when he reacquainted himself with the newly divorced Samantha. Liz finds out shortly thereafter and gets her ex or ex's friend to "persuade" Tarl to leave Holland which results in teetotaler Styx fleeing and getting drunk on the plane ride home, beginning this new phase of his life.

Most likely they fought because she felt that he wasn't faithful and he either threatened her or damaged some property. Even slamming a door and breaking it can be considered domestic violence. Maybe it was revenge for the humiliation of being felt up on the livestream? We don't even know what his relationship is with Liz, besides the fact that he flies back to Holland every few months and does his cuckcast under the stairs for a week.

Louisiana is a mandatory arrest state, so if the police are called to a domestic disturbance and they feel that Party A is somehow at fault, even if physical violence wasn't applied to Party B, they must arrest Party A. Eventually the facts will come out.

We finally got the details from the black British woman (league of angry Exs). They talk to each other.

It was one of Elisabeth's relatives, and he put Styx in a head lock after Styx "got physical" with her. Domestic abuse. No exs involved in kicking Styx out.

There is always a question as to how bad the "domestic abuse" is.

Naijella states that Elisabeth sent her a picture of her bruised back after Tarl caught Elisabeth talking to Naijella. Evidently this abuse had been going on for a long while.

Narc/Drunken rage?

Yes, it is frustrating that Naijella doesn't just drop all of her evidence. It appears part of her fears are the British laws that Tarl threatens her with (Truth is not a defense). One thing I have to agree with @Caroline Farrow is that I have not heard Naijella lie once for as much as she has run her mouth. She may have been extremely naïve. But she hasn't been caught out in being a liar.

Understand the revealed preferences of women and by in large you understand them entirely. Broadly they covet wealth and power, the nature of law, the principal causes of divorce and the utter intolerance of house husbands. They thirst after guys with wealth and power like a teenage boy thirsts after a woman with curves. Some are smarter about it and understand what genuine power and wealth is. But most have do not and some mistake wanton violence to be power, this is not exactly something that is rare. Only time will tell if Styx fits the bill but if he does I would say odds you have it right.

this. and at this point i dont think i can even take tarl's videos seriously anymore. he has been falling apart since he left netherlands. i knew he was in trouble because he was a controlling ass to elisabeth in the mre and domestic videos he did with her for a short while. now with the past year and this cherry on top, i dont think ill listen to him anymore. hard to ignore the piles of stupid shit around him.

* There is a domestic protective order. I expect that means that Styx cannot contact Samantha or his bail gets revoked.
* Styx doesn't have firearms on him. But he does have access to firearms in Vermont. I wonder if that means he must surrender them if/when he travels back to Vermont.
