This is something I've been thinking about. I dunno, but it seems like Elizabeth (his Dutch wife for the uninitiated) seems to not like the US that much, and she want's to stay in the Netherlands. Now I'm not against Styx living there with his wife but has he actually made any effort to, you know, "assimilate"? He's mentioned a couple of times that he's learnt some Dutch words and grammar but probably nothing more.

I think you can sort of follow their relationship by watching Liz's channel, which documents their interviews etc. through the years. Styx went on a "holiday" to the Netherlands in the spring of 2019, at which they met and got married; he made a video abou itt but it has since been deleted from YouTube, though it's sill on his BitChute channel.

Of all languages Dutch would probably be easiest for a native english speaker to understand/pick up on. There are so many similar words that if you watch Dutch media without subtitles you can pick out sentences and phrases cause they are so similar.
