I find something about DeSantis untrustworthy and sleazy, couldn't really point you to anything specific but he just is a little "off" to me. But as a Floridian I am very happy about this move.
My post wasn’t saying DeSantis isn’t sleazy or trustworthy. It’s that he actually gets shit done beyond crying about how much of a victim he is on Twitter, like Donald Trump. He is actually doing shit that MAGA pretend Trump does. I find MAGA amusing. They are more upset over Ron DeSantis than the democrats. Even though he believes in most things Trump does.
My MAGA friends and family love DeSantis. I think Styx is the only pro-Trump person I've seen who dislikes DeSantis, and while I understand some distrust of him/not wanting him to run against Trump, I don't understand Styx's strong dislike.

Doing a cursory keyword search the support of Trump vs DeSantis seems to be pretty 50/50, but I don't really give a shit what some sportsball spergs on a sportsball forum say about politics, so I'll take your word for it. My friends and family primarily live in Florida so they might be more inclined to favor DeSantis. I live in Florida and I selfishly want DeSantis to wait until the next election so he can focus on our state.
I think that a big part of it with Styx dickriding Trump so hard is that he (Styx) built so much of his modern audience on calling Trump to win back in 2016. Styx will still criticize him every so often but he also comes across to me like he wants Trump to win so that he can earn money off of being able to pander to his MAGA fans for another four years more than anything. Part of it too I think is that he wants Trump to win just so that there's a fresh Leftist tard rage over it, which I can't say that I don't want to see it either.
Just checked and his last day in the US was Feb 2nd of 2021. I think it's safe to say that he's never going back unless an emergency happens at this point.
