He did. However he hasn't said much other than he supports the farmers and he thinks the government is being tyrannical. I don't think he's mentioned much of it since the news broke.

Styx made that video about the same time I started hearing about it from other sources. As usual he doesn't seem to know anything about it except the most superficial facts, then starts going on about "back home in Vermont" lol.

Love or hate Viva Frei, he did a great service livestreaming the Ottawa protests on the ground. But I guess that would take Styx more than 15 minutes and he does he even speak Dutch.
 
I stumbled upon this post about Assmongold and was taken aback at how much this caricature looks like Styx. I thought the thread was about him until I read the post content.

Styx recently tweeted against Dr. Oz. I replied saying that Oz is running against a Bernie Sanders acolyte and that there's nothing that indicates beyond a shadow of a doubt that Oz=Romney, because it seems Oz will far more likely be a generic Republican who isn't very based but also isn't a Romney/Collins/Cassidy/etc.

I didn't get any attention so far, but I saw this one other person tweet something like "dude I'm a Republican, we gotta unite behind Oz" and got dogpiled by a bunch of people saying we should surrender that seat. Come the fuck on...I haven't even seen this level of hate directed against verifiably shitty candidates like James Lankford or John Boozman, it's mainly directed against Oz - someone who is running in a competitive race against a far-left candidate who would have the seat for six years.

I don't watch much Styx stuff these days (too repetitive), but this was a nice, chill interview with Sleazy. Mr. Martini needs some WD-40 for his goddamn office chair, and put the mic closer to his face, but the rest was quite good. I think Styx should do more team-ups (not with his wife), and he might draw in more viewers. He's better bouncing off of another person.

Styx should do his research. During the interview he made fun of artists - to a guy who has an art degree from an art school.

I admit Tarl was my main source I watched in 2016, and that's how I felt more confident about Trump before most people did. But I see now it was a fluke (right calls, bad reasons) and now there's basically no point to watching Styx coverage if you want accuracy and prescience when Richard Baris does streams too. He's got a libertarian streak and is into the whole Posobiec-Cernovich macho tradcon™️ thing and can be pretty autistic about all of that, but dude knows his math and vote data.

My prediction? Styx happily ignores the tip and continues being a vaguely competent Nate Silver. Strange, because there's enough overlap between their circles so that he should have heard of Baris by now. Styx has been on Viva Barnes, is in a gay internet relationship with Raz0rfist (who, to his credit, does constantly applaud Baris's track record and transparency), and supposedly spends a lot of time reading about polling and demographics.

He's already plateaued with subscribers and views, so there's more or less no incentive for Tarl to innovate or get better at his "craft". He probably could learn a thing or two from Baris, but he will probably continue to be a man of very dumb habit and use RCP like it's still 2014 instead.

He really is the definition of a mile wide and an inch deep, and he probably will not even notice that he's been outclassed by people who know how to look for signs of a bad poll instead of just "throw it in the average." It makes me wish he'd go back to talking about more of the spoopy and religious stuff, where he's really well-read and knowledgable if not weird.

If you don't know who John Gibbs is the day before his primary and just endorse him because Meijer was an impeacher (true story :story:), then you either aren't truly interested enough in politics and are doing it for views, or you're too lazy to explore and read different sources and aren't as well-versed in the topic as you think you are.
