Socialism is not when the government does stuff, although communism, socialism and fascism will always manifest themselves as goverment doing stuff. Technically true socialism or communism hasn't been tried, because it is practically impossible. All they could ever do is increase state power.

The more interesting question is whether he's mooching off of his Nethergirl. She seems to have a good job if she can afford to own a house near Amsterdam, and decide to up and just buy a new one. The housing market in Holland is pretty fucked by default and Covid made it worse. I doubt Tarl's Youtubebux are that much of a contribution to household finances.

Yeah, last time I remember watching his video on abortion etc. the ratio wasn't nearly as bad. Same goes for some of his vaccine videos (excluding COVID-19), where there's a noticeable amount of dislikes and schizos raving in the comment section. I'm sure he doesn't even care about the COVID jab, but he knows his audience likes it when he's against it (if not because of conspiracy theories then because of bodily rights).

The only people still very pro Trump and feeding into the anti Biden porn are boomers. His audience is older than it used to be and may not be aware of the more libertarian aspects of him since he's become mainstream Republican on nearly all of his other takes. Doing a show with Ramz Paul for a year might be a reason this happened too. Ramz has a more general, older Republican appeal. Styx does not know his viewership if this is a surprise.
