You can blame globalism and our bankers and politicians selling us out to foreigners. We all have to compete with slave labor in China and India, that means everything, making clothes, manufacturing items.... If they make the same item for $1 when you'd have to spend at least 10x more to just get the materials, you don't have a chance, if there are no trade restrictions or import duties on those items. And if that isn't enough they open our borders to import slave labor to fill the service jobs that used to be safe from globalization. Both men and women are affected in the market equally.
Plus if you claim you want to be a homemaker (personally I agree, I would want my wife to be comfortable when raising our kids and not have to work), you would want your man to be able to make enough income for both, and so the market value of your work wouldn't matter, as it's priceless, it's valued by your husband by the home, security, support, food, income he gives to you as part of the family.
Singling out just women as the subject whose work has been devalued unjustly ignores that both sexes work has been devalued.

If you want to be a homemaker, how much do you want to be paid in addition to having a roof over your head, being comfortable, being secure and having everything you need provided by the man? I mean, it depends on how you manage family finances, if you have separate bank accounts and you don't work, the man is expected to pay for everything, so you can buy stuff on your account, then ask him to transfer you money for whatever you used on some regular time basis like monthly. But personally I would expect to see receipts for the stuff my wife expects me to pay for, as I won't be paying for unnecessary luxury and frivolous spending.

False. I addressed your point, Tarl’s criticisms have nothing to do with his gender. Accusations about him being a bad father isn’t an attack on his gender and it certainly isn’t an attack on men in general or even bad fathers in general. Also, there are not a “bunch of women” in this thread trying to ruin Tarl’s life. You are being hysterical.

There is only one woman doing this. That would be Sam. No other woman, that we know of, has made any attempt at “ruining Tarl’s life”. My original message, which I have already apologized for multiple times now, came from an accumulation of anti-woman shit I’m reading across all of social media. /pol/, rumble, YouTube, ifunny, here. Even my favorite infotainment/political commentator lapses into “white women bad”. Yes, there are man-haters even here on kiwi farms apparently, but I don’t hang out in those places, so I’m not exposed to it. I can’t fucking stand man-hating feminists, but I am learning that perhaps their existence serves to balance out:

Women are subhuman
White women are built for BBC
Repeal the 19th
She’s having “a woman moment”

Those are just a few examples and these seemingly popular sentiments are what propelled my original comment. I felt like I was starting to see more of that here too and it was bumming me out. Now, I am going to say this one more time to be absolutely clear:

My original comment in this thread was misplaced and I apologize.
