Not yet. It comes on pretty quickly, usually when the bilirubin around 3-5 mg/dl. It's just a matter of time before it starts screaming and he's dying of acute liver failure. Elevated bilirubin per se does not cause photophobia, but kindling and withdrawal from alcohol will. Frex, someone who puts down wine and hard spirits for most of his waking hours but must stay sober for a little while in the a.m. will be feeling both hung over and very jittery from the absence of the depressant, alcohol. Photoohobia is common, there.

If this goes on and intake increases, withdrawal will start to happen while still technically drunk.

Styx was probably having PTSD flashbacks of sleeping next to the pisser while he was locked up in the nigger den in Louisiana. He didn't even realize he was sobbing. It's probably why they dropped the case; Tarl ruined all the paperwork with his constant blowholing and the ink was so smeared the DA couldn't make heads nor tails of it.
