Do libertarians at large give credence to the NAP? I thought that was more the realm of fringe ancaps and everyone else just thinks its a meme.

Remember, TJ knows what an actual threat looks like. There's video of his old friend FakeSagan drunkenly threatening him with a gun, in person.

Technically, it was a livestream on BlogTV to raise money for his failed 'freespeechvidz' (later NotProductive) site. Both were beyond hammered and FakeSagan not only threatened him with it but pressed it up to his head with his finger on the trigger until both their girlfriends reentered the room to intervene (I think it was before they started making out due to reaching a money goal). I remember seeing it live and the chat was convinced we were going to see a murder thanks to FS getting more volatile the drunker he got. Wasted opportunity to create one of the most memorable moments in internet history if you ask me.

As always women ruin everything. To get back on topic, is Styx living permanently in Swamp Germany now? He has been living there with his waifu for a long time.

It’s for the fringe group that take it to the extreme. Example: your music has sent sound waves onto my property violating the NAP and I will now steal your child slaves as just payment for trespassing on my property.

I don't follow him close enough to know if he made an official statement, but I think he mentioned something once about the whole kung flu thing delaying any return trip but that he did plan on returning.

In which Styx apparently falls for Candace Owens boomer swill and doesn't know how ActBlue actually works despite "analyzing politics for a living." Every single donation that goes through ActBlue doesn't go to ActBlue itself unless you choose to donate to maintenance, it's ferried directly to the individual campaign's coffers and your name will show up on FEC records as having donated to that specific campaign. It's a payment processor like PayPal, not a pooled fund. What's even his source? He didn't link anything in the description. There are plenty of ways that politicians and lobbyists can launder money but this ain't one of them, chief.

I wasn't sure exactly how that worked. Do they receive a processing fee of any sort?

wouldn't this have intense backing in this way? i could imagine that styx misrepresented some facts in such a way that made him look stupid, as a result this video is technically misinformation.

I've used it like once or twice for free bumper stickers or buttons or whatever and I want to say it takes a sliver of every donation but it's from the campaign after your part in the transaction ends, pretty sure, could be wrong on the details but that's the gist. But in any case it's not some giant pool that donates to whatever campaign it autonomously decides to give to like Styx seems to think.

hm somebody came to the conclusion that the kiwifarms rules are a good idea...

There's a timer on the donations where if the recipient doesn't claim it after 60 days , ActBlue gets to decide what to do with it. So it's not complete bullshit.

"Hey guys, turns out learning to cook a few basic dishes by the time 30 isn't actually a waste of time. I just completed my first box of hamburger helper and it's actually not that bad. My recipe for ants on a log is in the description.":story:

I honestly thought Styx was a little more put together than this. Maybe it was the gardening that fooled me into thinking he was an adult. What's that saying about from mom to wife?

Strikes me as the type that never felt the need to make or eat complex dishes for nutrition. The type that drinks milk if he needs calcium, eats a can of beans if he needs protein, and so on.

I never Imagined him as some Mario Battali type but I also never imagined he'd be pleased with himself for making basic dishes. All the same the sentiment behind this video is good people should learn how to cook for themselves so I guess I shouldn't rag on him too much.

Hasn't he written and/or edited a bunch of treatise' on alchemy? Why would he be interested in that and never try the closest available substitute for most people: cooking?

Yeah that was sort of along my thought process as well. This guy that can't shut up about 'minarchism', sampling MREs and puttering around his garden but he can't even make himself a plate of spaghetti? Not that I thought he was some averagely functional human I just thought his private failings would be along the lines of getting unreasonably mad at small issues or something. Where does he get off acting so smug when he considers making grilled cheese a herculean task?
