Tarl's content is just too piss poor to be excusable now to follow for news updates.

He constantly whines about things that are irrelevant, arrogance and laziness on display, points out the blatantly obvious with lots of filler words, doesn't digs deep enough into news stories, no substantial effort to improve himself, milquetoast opinions, plus his concerning behavior from a few months ago is off putting.

I touched base with him to see how he is doing. I don’t think he trusts me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve been on his side the whole time. He should have come on my show instead of Ralph’s. I invited him again. He has an opportunity to change countless lives by publicly reforming.

Think the booze (and other substances) are catching up with him on a neurological level. He doesn't come across as coherent or well spoken anymore and his content has nosedived post Netherlands escape.

What's especially pathetic about this is that Styx is vicariously defending himself by stating he doesn't care about Destiny or Nick Fuentes' drama and weird sex stuff. He knows he's got a ton of skeletons in his closet so he's trying to look principled by claiming he doesn't care about drama for his streamer and political enemies. But the truth is, he doesn't want the vast majority of his audience to realize how squalid and depraved his own personal life is. So he downplays "drama" in general.

I just want three or four 5 minute blurbs a day detailing the news in the last 24 hours and the ramifications of that news on old news.

I think the yellow finger is just tobacco stained. Unless somebody shows me a picture that changes my mind, I'm going to assume it's the tobacco stains I started noticing 3 or 4 months ago. It's only on one hand because people tend to hold cigarettes the same way every time.

The main thing he is likely afraid of is his audience going to Kiwifarms to research about the Destiny situation and discovering his thread on this site.
He probably was nervous thinking about doing this video because he knows his audience will easily connect it to him.

I had to look this cringe up to make sure it wasn't official WOTC retardation. One of the keys to understanding Styx is that he is just a roleplayer/larper at heart. It drives everything about him. He would love the idea of his own MTG card 'cause it's roleplaying. He loves swords and daggers because one can larp like a samurai or knight. He loves the idea of an owl demon watching over him 'cause it's roleplay and makes him feel like a special snowflake. He would never worship the Christian deity for example as that is not unique enough; billions of people already worship that and he is special. In fact, he IS god. He loves Occultism 'cause it's like magic, man. Nobody believes in this gay shit unless you're one of the initiated chosen few, and Styx is very special. If you tear away all his roleplay and gay delusions about himself, you're left with an ugly skeletal dork sitting in a bedroom frightened to walk outside. He would be getting his head shoved in toilets in high school and bullied relentlessly so he larps as a powerful warlock in a power fantasy to feel good again. It's also pure narcissism to think some powerful owl demon named Stolas would want to speak to him, of all 8 billion people on Earth. Some jackass sitting in Rutland, Vermont. Chris-chan does a similar thing in his made-up head-canon about Sonichu and Magi-chan and all his fabricated bullshit lore. Either recognize you're a powerless loser in the real world or larp as a powerful wizard communicating with gods in your fantasy world. One feels a lot better than the other, for the autist's ego.

I'm fairly certain Tarl's references to Stolas predate Helluva Boss being a thing, to the extent when he heard he was a character he got super excited about it and fanboyed over a T-shirt a fan sent him.

I'm not sure which is worse.

It would be interesting to sort out. I know he's obsessed with the character and never saw him make too much out of it prior to the pilot of the show. Or even mention it, but I've never followed him terribly closely. I have seen him refer to other Ars Goetia demons, iirc.
