Well, color me suprised. Seriously, though. Why does he not know why he was in Special Ed? Speaking from personal experience, that's the kind of thing someone tells you, unless either he was in a sped class because he was at risk of dropping out, which we all know he did, or he was non-diploma track (pretty much a euphemism for "retarted enough that they aren't eligible to graduate from high school"), which is possible, but unlikely.
