I‘be been skimming through, but I really don’t see any particularly exceptional behavior from this guy. The comics are about as funny as the average Garfield strip(with equally head scratching punchlines) and some of the content is slightly questionable, but nothing I would really see as worth following.
Am I missing something, or is this thread just a general dislike of the guy?

You arent wrong, he hasnt really sperged out. Most of this thread, for me, is laughing at him and how boring and unfunny his one-note barely-observational-humor comics are and the fact that people take him seriously. You dont have to eat bugs, people are saying it is going to be a cheaper form of protein in the future and can easily be farmed in mass--mostly the issue they bring it up over is they say it will be a far more efficient solution to ending hunger in places like Africa. Fuck, I think they already eat bugs in places like China and maybe southeast Asia, I think crickets. And seafood like lobster and crabs and shrimp are basically water-bugs.

Unlike everybody else, I personally dont think hes trolling or doing a bit because these are common, relatively inoffensive talking points for people who identify as not being a soyboy or being center right/right wing, /pol/ tier people and I think even if he is trolling there is a significant chunk of his audience that does genuinely get worked up over issues like that.

Some of his points hit home, but mostly for me it's laughing at the fact that he has the cult following he does.

I think he is trolling because he has to know SJWs completely flip their shit at his cartoons and he constantly deliberately pokes them. That doesn't mean he doesn't believe his /pol/ shit though.

To put it simply, he's breaking a mold.

Right-leaning people aren't supposed to be entertaining, at least not intentionally. They're supposed to be stuffy, bitter, boring, out of touch, obsessed with "how things should be." Everyone who leans right is a fogy; someone stuck in an irrelevant bygone era. Any young person who promotes right-wing ideas is either a spambot or a paid propagandist, not legitimate.

The truly witty, big-brained elements of our society all lean to the left. That's why virtually every movie, television show, album and other piece of mass media you can absorb nowadays invariably leans in that direction. The left doesn't have its pulse on modern culture, it is modern culture. Even the "grassroots" elements of our culture lean to the left. Google proves it.

Then there's Stonetoss. What can you say about Stonetoss?

Stonetoss is, in essence, nothing more than some guy on the internet, declaring no formal affiliation, doodling panel comics about his grievances with modern society. He appears to do all of this purely out of self-gratification and spite rather than for any sort of profit. He's as sincere as he is hateful. People share his work because they like (or dislike) his message.

Plenty of efforts have been made to take the guy down, most of them (presumably) as grassroots in nature as his own art.

And yet, somehow, his child-like doodles kvetching about circumcision and black people still gets more attention than 99% of the people who complain about him. He's a niggling reminder that, despite all efforts to seize the means of production, the internet is still a place where "the nazis" can get a word in edgewise. Worse, they might even become more popular than you.

Some strawman said:
Wow, you sure do like Stonetoss. Why don't you just suck him off already?

I don't like him. He's basically A. Wyatt Mann for newfags.

What I do like is how he can net an audience in an increasingly claustrophobic, corporate-controlled internet. In an era where you can be cut off from the world because your provider doesn't agree with you politically, he's pretty much "made it" as a political cartoonist. The polarizing nature of someone so politically incorrect succeeding on such a modern form of mass media is why he keeps popping up.

And, as with anything polarizing, people will gladly embarrass themselves just to give their take on it. That's why this thread is here.

He's actually sincere, though, I think. Maybe whoever wrote the A. Wyatt Mann cartoons was sincere, if it wasn't also the artist, Nick Bougas. But if it was Nick Bougas, it is very unlikely he wasn't shitposting on some level, because Bougas does not seem to be a virulent racist or be terribly likely to hold the views of the comics sincerely. I may be misreading him, because if he isn't, his motives are otherwise somewhat opaque.

Google doesn't prove that at all. The fact that "socialism" and "marxism" are gaining in googletrends doesn't mean grassroots is gaining purchase; that might mean people googling "cultural marxism" because they heard it in a jordan peterson video and are preparing to be horrified by it. It can also mean that google's own right wing bias (see their various leaks) means that right wing people are moving to alternate search engines more than others have.

It's true that there is somewhat of media push toward the left, particularly in the last five years and yes that means big opportunities to fill that vacuum. In that sense I agree with the general premise.

Although young people are in general more left than right wing, for more than a decade every generation becoming 18 has been more right wing than the previous one. The grassroot trends lean right. At times this isn't readily apparent because it has become trendy to appear grassroots and think tank produced and billionaire funded stuff often masquerades as grassroots (things like black lives matter / extinction rebellion).

I think that how hard people try to take him down, while he hasn't been, is part of his success. The side-effect of censorship is you create vacuums, the way prohibition made smuggling booze very profitable.

I think the grassroots resistance against this thread (that was removed but used to be on the first page) further supports that.

what are you smoking? That has never been the truth. It wasnt when Milo kept regurgitation that talking point to make himself seem important, and it isn’t now. Right leaning and conservative humor has always been around, and generally was the basis for entertainment for most of the century. Just because a lot of popular stuff leans left, doesn’t mean it all does. Far from it in fact. No mold is being broken by these basic comics

It's one of the generic "alt-right" autistic obsessions. Go to any such forum and post anything that can remotely be interpreted as about circumcision and watch the spergs go wild.

Given they absolutely hate Jews and to a much lesser extent Muslims it does make sense, at least more so than a lot of the other nonsense they believe. If they passed a law banning circumcision immigration from those groups might decrease and some of them might leave the country, at least in the far right's imagination.

It's pretty obvious that Stonetoss is like Milo and his ilk in dressing up his beliefs in lame edgy humour to try to advertise them. Th fact he's trolling doesn't mean he doesn't actually believe the content of many of his comics.

Good luck finding a movie, television show, album or whatever that can be called right-leaning nowadays. The entertainment sect of our society is all Jewish-ran; Jews vote left. So do their useful idiots in Hollywood. It should be no surprise the media has a heavy slant to the left, and I'm not going to bother giving you a crash course on the various symptoms that make this so obvious.

Besides that, visit any prominent source of web art (Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Deviantart, etc.) and you'll find the users there lean to the left. Most of them will say "I have no political opinions" only to turn around and support Bernie Sanders (or whoever the latest hip Democrat darling is.)

49 pages and people are still bringing this up. I think people just shit on him between the luls of twitter anger about his latest panels.

There should just be a StoneToss comic edit thread. His comics are great meme templates.

What is Last Man Standing? A show that was revived because of mass popularity. There’s also that one show Joel McHale is in were he’s a professor to millennials or some shit. Cobra Kai is also fairly conservative, even with its race quotas.
I don’t think I even need to mention recent movies. If I do, you just haven’t been paying attention.
Album? I don’t listen to rap, but Kanye literally released a religious conservative album a few weeks ago. Not to mention all the country and indie rock songs.

The problem is that you’re living in the same bubble as the people who claim “only old stuff was good.” It’s not that good stuff stopped being made, it’s that you’re too lazy to actually look for it. I hate to say you’re a basic bitch, but you’re a basic bitch.

A lot of incel types characterised Joker as a conservative film as well.

On the Ranch lives and breathes taking the piss out of spoiled Milennials too.

Sam Elliott is an American treasure.

And all of us managed to avoid naming the big mainstream conservative comic strip. Personally, I think it’s horrendously unfunny, but Dilbert clearly found mass appeal and goes strong to this day.

stonetoss has broken no molds
