So to make a long story short: RoseQuartz, leader of the rebellion, was Pink Diamond who faked her own death because she wanted to be "part of your world".
Pearl knew about it and helped her fake her death.
Her "demise" actually led to a century spanning war with homeworld and resulted in the shattering/death of millions.

Rose Quartzs is the shittiver version of Darth Sidious in Steven Universe.
The fandom is going to have a meltdown.

So basically yet another character pulling a dick move and the writers framing it as "the right choice uwu". This is why I fell off this show. I'm so sick of characters coming across as massive assholes and then being framed as the good guys.

It's more accurate to say that they never call out anybody on their shit. The characters do idiotic and malicious things all the time but it's barely reacted to beyond Steven being blandly empathetic. Having characters be seriously flawed would be more acceptable and more interesting if people actually acted accordingly.
 
I just wait for the tumblr idiots to realize the unfortunste undertones of the plot twist.

that in the pro lesbian cartoon, the biggest cause of misery, was the largest dyke of them all. And why? Because she could not take responsibilities of any kind for her society. If that is not a perfect representation of SJWs, I don't know

Glad I gave up on this show. It had so much potential to be good but unfortunately Sugar is an idiot.

Steven Universe will never end. It is the only thing associated with social justice politics that was actually successful. So now, it will go on until the end of time. They can't let it die. Rebecca Sugar has spent more than two seasons doing bullshit. She can keep doing bullshit until the fabric of space breaks enough so that she's physically incapable of writing any new episodes.
