Going by a trailer for the new episode as well as the synopsis for the episode after that, it seems fairly likely.

Peridot appears to not like thunderstorms.

New episode is out and it has answers to what the cluster is and a ew other things and it brings more questions in general to the table and also more peridot.

Episode I'm currently looking forward is "Monster Reunion", mainly because I'm guessing it's a reference to "Monster Buddies" and the return of Centipeetle, potentially as a cured Gem.

I dig the last one.

Anyway I just watched the episode and it's making me want to see more of the whole "gems have purposes" thing and specifically what the backstory of our Pearl is that she ended up like this. (And just why she was blushing so much during the scene where Steven was like "Hundreds of Pearls..." but that one might just be me being dense as always)
