I'm wondering if these pretendbians might have just a touch of autism, not enough to qualify as Aspergers but just enough to manifest as complete lack of introspect after they break free from their coddling support system of, "no dad, that looks really stupid."

I feel as if I know the right man, but I can't place him for the life of me. He vaguely reminds me of a local convention's mascot: a burly and hairy man in a sailor skirt.
edit: Hideaki Koboyashi is his name. I have no idea where I know him from. Viral articles, I guess.

Also, not sure if I'm comforted or perturbed that Fonky is actually dressed like a young child in these recent... pictures (?). I still don't know why any of this is a thing, though. Why must it be a thing.

Hideaki Koboyashi pulls it off way better than Fonky Kong, though; not in appearance so much as mannerisms. Fonky just comes across like he's barely even trying by comparison.

Ah, yes. No doubt that Kobayashi is a weirdly adorable old man in a skirt. He also nails those blissful schoolgirl poses... and doesn't think he's a little girl who abandons his family for not respecting his trans-ness.

... The more I look at these pictures of Fonky, the more I want to punch him in the face and steal candy from him or something.
 
Plus Kobayashi is doing it as a commentary on Japanese society and how stifling and oppressive it's attitude towards conformity is.
Fonky does it cause it gives him a boner.
