This premeried during TGA, I want to have some kind of hope in new games and I've decided this will be the one that I will try to play.
please be good
let me have something good

Kind of hard to judge much from that trailer but it looks kinda neat. I remember the n64 game being pretty fun. Though I'm sure it'll be full of shit like season passes and characters and vehicles you have to individually purchase and a bunch of other shit like that that'll keep me away from it.

i've dealt with a few games like that and it's more fun for me to never buy any of that shit and just grind for the free stuff while just getting gud and beating everyone else anyways, including all the p2w piggies.
there was a MOBA called Fractured Space that did something like this, you had to buy new ships with in-game currency but whenever a major update dropped they'd take them away from you and make you grind for them again or give them real money to buy them back. however since i joined the game as part of some promo they were running i got a special skinned ship that was always in my inventory that never reset, so even though it was a mid-tier ship at best i studied guides on how to use it properly and fucking annihilated everyone else with it.
the speshul ship i had was the reaper, it's secondary was a beam that would deal huge damage to ships but only if their shields were down, however it had a really bizarre yet intentional side effect where at really long range it would deal insane fuck you damage, like 17k per hit. so i could jump into a new system and one-tap any ship that was below half health from the other side of the field. got so much fucking salt out of that lmao

So basically, you work hard for this company for free, providing the type of top-tier customer service that makes their shitty model work and lets them take money from others while giving you none? Cool story, bro.

SW Ep. I Racer was one of two N64 games we had at the fraternity (the other was Conker) that worked. It was a house favorite. I don't like racing games at all but that game was the tits. This game doesn't look like Star Wars at all tbqh.

I love a good crazy sci-fi racing game. I'm not gonna pay the fuckin $80 or whatever the retail cost is but I hope it'll be worth the freeleech token.
