In the Memory Alpha entry for "The Chase", the writers talk about how hard it was to feminize the Cardassians. They're a strong contender for Trek's ugliest women.
I mean, being humanoid aside, they clearly have a reptilian biological background. With all that entails about physiology.

So making them look attractive is going to be hard while retaining consistency in how they appear.

I'll take the female aliens looking slightly ugly over whatever the fuck this is

I really like the kelpian makeup but the weird lips and fake eyelashes for the females is ridiculous, especially considering they're a primitive species.

Uh…

I’m going to say the ugliest cardassian woman is a super model in comparison to whatever the fuck that is.

Deep Space Nine, season three, episode nine, Defiant.

Oh Defiant. This episode is definitely a special one. On the one hand I am glad that they did something with the whole two Rikers thing. On the other hand fuck this gay episode. BUT! I did enjoy the part at the beginning where not-Will sees Kira and Kira tells not-Will that he's her favorite TNG character. It was a little weird how they broke the fourth wall like that though. But they do try to keep things fresh on DS9.

Kind of weird that Starfleet never put in a means of telling the difference between Will and Thomas. Isn't that the sort of thing that Section 31 would do in their spare time? Also lol Kira is able to casually unlock the Defiant.

At least Past Tense is coming up. Which is to say Past Tense is coming up next because I am fucking skipping episode ten, Fascination.

Hard disagree.

Speaking of Rom, let's talk about Rom. He ended the show as the Gentle Nagus (good band name) but his earlier appearances on the show and especially when Nog was involved saw Rom being much more of a Ferengi hardliner. And well before Leeta appeared, Rom randomly skewed far more doofy and lovable and far less "throw them off of the Tower of Commerce." I don't dislike the direction they took Rom, but it was pretty sudden and sloppy.

Now then, onto Leeta.

I'd love to see an episode of TNG/DS9 where the Ferengi have to interact with a Gordon Gecko-type 20th century American. They'd assume he'd be a stupid hoo-man and then he'd own the entire Ferengi Alliance by the end of the two-parter. Or have a B-story in an episode of DS9 where Quark reads Ayn Rand.

Ralph Offenhouse! Played by that one guy who wants Banacek DEAD.

After returning to Earth, Offenhouse continued to have difficulty adjusting to 24th century life; however, he managed to use his knowledge to help the Federation in their dealings with the Ferengi. Given Offenhouse's natural affinity for financial matters, he would later be offered a position as a Federation ambassador to the Ferengi.
Trivia: He, too, had a long career with bit parts in shows like Bonanza.

Deep Space Nine, season 3, episode 13, Life Support

This one is alright! I like this episode even if I don't love it. Watching Bashir and Kira go around concerning the ethics of keeping Bareil alive and himself is a great Star Trek question. And I am always on board whenever Winn is in an episode. Louise Fletcher was such a great "get" for DS9 and she kills it. Someone call @The Last Stand because he's got a new waifu. Anyway it is a good episode and the only real downside with it is that Bareil has been voted off of the island.

Deep Space Nine, season 3, episode 14, Heart of Stone

This fucking episode. I don't like the A-plot with Kira and Odo and the magic growing vore crystal. But I love the B-plot with Nog trying to get into Starfleet. He really starts to become his own character in this episode and starts off on his journey of becoming one of the best Trek characters. Rom also develops a fair bit, which I like. But that fucking A-plot... it's the kind of shit Patrick Sean Tomlinson would come up with; which is to say it is total garbage. I wish this episode was all about Nog getting a letter of recommendation from Sisko.
