The stupid "choose to live" line was bad enough on Picard but of course we have to hear it more because its just so epic and badass, this is the power of good writing people!
Its one of those iconic Star Trek lines now, like Live Long And Prosper.

Picard could be the Elven ninja nun. Picard isn't a person any more, he's a set of memories that are transferred from host to host.
Picard is a title, like Thor or James Bond or Data, and rightfully should be replaced by a woman.

I can't believe that they didn't use that opportunity at the end of the the first season to turn him into a black woman and have Stewart voice the character through Skype. It would have been way cheaper for them too.

Was watching the DS9 episode of Worf on trial. I had forgotten how good Sisko's closing speech on leadership is.

Would that he could deliver that to Burnham and the others on the spin offs.

Also that episode got me thinking... since we have talked about spin-off ideas, I'd love to see: "Law & Order: Federation."

So many different ways you could structure it. Maybe a special "crewed" ship which goes to alien planets every week (or over part of a season) to deal with getting citizens and ambassadors out of tricky situations? See them deal with a variety of strange and mysterious alien law codes?

If you want to do a bottle episode, have something like Rekieta's recently Rittenhouse streams, only everybody zooming in is in alien makeup. I don't care, just be creative and different!

Now on Discovery, more random flames, rocks, sparklers. Crew members with no seat belts, Also surviving the huge fall back to the deck without major injuries. Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand why the gravity fails and they immediately get thrown several feet in the air. Tilly didn't even fall through the deck plating when gravity returned... Doctor says "something bigger" to Tilly. I have a pretty good idea why the 'Gravitational Anomaly' changed directions, it's looking for a mate.

It's downright criminal that we never got a Captain Worf show,,,,

...and Burnham has a safe space bubble that allows her to have private conversations. I guess the writers kinda forgot about the ready room.
