I've been on a bit of a DS9 kick lately. Mostly ferengi heavy episodes such as House of Quark, Profit and Lace, Ferengi Love Songs, ect.

I'm going to Gen Con, as I won't shut up about in chat, and Walter Koeing is in fact going to be there. I'm debating whether I should ask him to say "nuclear wessels."

I second that. Definitely do it if you get the chance.

Got told by my dad that appently I met william shatner as a baby. Dunno whether to believe him or not but am currently working through the OS for the first time rather enjoying it

I love Star Trek, I've been watching the orginal series, TNG, and I have seen a handful of the movies. Eventually I'll watch DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise.

I fuckin hate Voyager because they neutered my favorite villain Q. They gave him a wife and a kid, now he's pretty much a good guy.

I want my lulz seeking omnipotent jackass playboy back!

At least in the final episode of STNG he reverts part way.

Didn't know this. Now even less reason to watch Voyager.

Come to Quark's,
Quark's is fun,

Don't just walk,
Run!

Compy, you said in DS9, "Statistical Probabilities" that Bashir helps a group of autistics. That's not true: they are genetically engineered savants.

I started re-watching TNG. First thing that happened was I had no idea who this Tasha Yar was.

My favorite Star Trek is probably DS9. Didnt like the captain that much, but the rest of the cast is solid. And it's really interesting to see the Federation's dark side and see them going through a war.

The best SciFi I can recommend isn't Star Trek though, but Babylon5. Don't listen to any spoilers, just try and watch it! Once you get to the second season it's AMAZING...

Tasha Yar was a character who was Picard's chief of security for season 1 of TNG that left after the first season. She was killed off in a hilarious way and became a sporadic cast member in cameo appearances throughout the remainder of the series. Then Worf was promoted to chief of security.

After months of going through a little bit at a time, I am on season 7 of TNG. Such a ride. I can't wait to start DN9.

The series finale of TNG is one of the best episodes (well I think it's a two-parter) of TV I've ever seen.

You know the cast and crew requested this scene for ages before one of the directors finally decided to put it in.

I'm mildly interested in watching Enterprise right now (I know que the lobotomy). But to anyone who's actually watched Enterprise what did you think of it compared to series's like Voyager?

I know it couldn't hold a candle to TNG but I tended to feel Voyager had it's moments (see the linked video above). But from what I've heard nobody likes Enterprise.
