Seen this before, and it sounds like cope to me. As far as we know, all the mammal races in Star Fox seem to be originally from Corneria, and Zoness is a vacation planet that was probably colonized. Obviously people could live full time on Zoness and have families, but we don't actually have further information to go off of as to where Katt is from. All we know is she hung out with Falco in a gang years ago. As far as we know, she could have only showed up on Zoness to fight Falco, not because she's from around there. And probably most importantly, the pollution on Zoness only started very recently as Andross set up a base on the planet and started polluting the area. The idea that Katt looks fucked up because she lived in the polluted area makes no sense timescale-wise, and Falco would say something if she suddently looked diseased due to pollution from the past few months that wouldn't have affected her previously.
I'm not a lorefag, so this is all news to me.

Not me. I fucking hate Nintendo. Miyamoto can go deepthroat a big fat cock for all I care. I'm ready for those fuckin' top hats, I don't care anymore.
I mean most people here seem to be more critical of Nintendo.

By the way I would actually be interested in your take on the Star Fox story, I mean fan projects like Event Horizon already try to unfuck that chaos so it would be neat to see what other ideas people have.

It's just obvious the majority of the truly elite old guard are either dead, left the company, retired, or have been put on the "Become Disney" committee like Miyamoto. Dude should be making games, and only making games, not making movies. Even my boy Tanabe, someone who helped work on legends like Zelda ALTTP and Metroid Prime 2 retired this year after the Prime 4 debacle - why? Likely because "Make Metroid more like Breath of the Wild" was something required of him by the suits even though he didn't want it. People naturally hated it (as they should), and he probably just said fuck it after all that, "I'm too old for this shit, I'm moving to Hokkaido"...

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I've just been in a rough place recently and this shit they're doing with Star Fox certainly hasn't helped things in the slightest. I'd really love to share that Star Fox reimagining I've had brewing in my head, but as I said in my original post, It's still in the brainstorming phase and I'm not sure when or if I'll ever start work on it proper. If enough people in this thread are interested, I'd be happy to provide updates if/when I make any progress on it beyond the few notes I've jotted down.

I've been thinking about that whole Disney subject for a while now. I'm not a Disney fan so I'm probably going to be a bit unfair but I still think that I'm not being too cruel.
Nintendo essentially is the video game equivalent of Disney - they were early pioneers of the medium and responsible for innovations that are now deeply woven into its fabric. Like it or not, they're synonymous with the medium as a whole.
Frankly, I think that Nintendo were far better than Disney at their peak though; they got away with a lot more. You'd never see Disney making something like Link's Awakening or Paper Mario or Pikmin or Mother or any of the other wonderfully naughty games that came through their doors.
And now, they've finally become modern Disney - a sterile litigious holding company that endlessly iterates on the things that they made when they still knew what they were doing.

You're dead wrong. Disney simply used a different logo to release their more mature films: Touchstone Pictures.

Everything else? Yeah, I agree with you. And Nintendrones share many of the worrying traits of the Disney Adults.

I actually hope the game is successful enough that Nintendo does a sequel because that means they are forced to figure out how not to redo 64 again.

As long as they keep their hands away from Event Horizon I don't care that much what they do so it will be atleast fun to watch from the sidelines.

I dunno if that will be within your interest, but there's this fic that has more worldbuilding and lore than the series will ever have:

>"the NEW face of the Starfox franchise!"
bitch you weren't even supposed to be a starfox character
Funny how she was supposedly meant to attract older players to the franchise.

EH is getting a C&D nuke that will annihilate it, sooner than later.
