Stan Lee was a fellow left-hander, which really hit me hard. And I still can't believe SJW losers are talking shit about him for woke points, for fuck's sake...
 
Part of the holy trinity of superhero comics alongside Ditko and Kirby, and one of the best editor in comics books history.
I hope you make up with Ditko whatever the place you were right now.
 
God, and the way his last year or so of life was fucking horrible too, having his blood stolen, manipulated into thinking his daughter was a bitch and that he should hate her, dragged around on a plane... Fuck. I hope he rests in peace.

While it's sad to see Stan Lee go, he died under possibly the best circumstances one can imagine: a very well-known pop culture figure, filthy stinking rich, lived to be a very high age...what self-respecting person doesn't look at all that and think, "I want to live a life just like this man's"?

Whoa, I did not expect to see this today. Rather uncanny, because last night I was reading a comment about how it’d suck for him to die. Rest in peace, Stan. At least you won’t have to suffer more abuse.

That's beyond the now dozen plus blockbuster movies he's a cameo in based on the Marvel comics he helped or had some hand in creating for decades.

Also, putting "SOAPBOX" around something and marking it is opinion and putting it on the back page is a far cry from cutting every white male character out of the comic and claiming that's somehow NOT a political statement, just the obvious way it should be for a better world.....

Pretty sure Stan is talking about references to real life politics in the Marvel universe. But even then subtly drawing parallels to ACTUAL social inequality and war during the 60s is FAR less inherently political then changing Modok to Trump.
 
This is the first celebrity death I actually feel. Can't help it, the man made most of the entertainment of my childhood years.

Rest well, Stan. You've earned it.
