It definitely went under the radar but I for one got bored at the point where the military drones start sweeping the facility.

Maybe I should give it another go with all the survival modifiers turned on.

A under appreciated gem of a game.
It is good but it peaks early.
Not hard by any means but it is astonishingly easy once you get the shotgun. I got it pretty late too. You can imagine what it was like going from batman space crowbar takedowning ayy lmaos to just blasting the fuck out of anything that looked wrong. And it's available right when you get to the Atrium if you put your early points into the appropriate skills. Just get to the security room and its there.

I just reinstalled this game last weekend coincidentally. Been thinking about it since I last played it years ago. It's that good.
I didn't try Mooncrash when I originally played Prey but I'll def check it out now.

Mooncrash is like Deathloop but better, which is weird because it came out first so you would expect the later one to be more polished right? But no, turns out the main idea doesn't really work well for a full game like that and using the setting of Prey made better and so did the use of multiple protagonists.

Pery is an excellent game. But everything Raphael Colantonio worked on is great. Shame what happened to Arkane.

Arkane Lyon has never made a halfway decent game so it was entirely predictable that Deathloop would be the rancid shart it is.

It's nice to have a long form video. Overall really good and informative.

The main issue with Pray is that knowing the final twist it really removes the reason for the player to care about the plot.

We'll never see games like this again out of AAA will we?
No, but that's because AAA is a descriptor for studios more than games. Assassin's Creed 1 or the recent-ish Forever Winter were made on very lean teams and they're on par with AAA quality. There's indie games that are practically AA, or AA games on an indie-like level.
Using a investment rating system to describe games is innacurate to gamers.

Youre leaving out the fact that prey is actually difficult and actually give you consequences for fucking up. While the "loop" in death loop isn't actually real and you can take your sweet ass time during runs and the enemies are somehow even easier to kill than usual Arkham games.
love how he points out literally everything off about the cook and how stupid it'd be to blindly do what mission objectives tell you to.
So you can just kill him right? I couldn't follow but you can kill every quest giver right? They didn't actually pull that essential NPC stuff right? Because that's what it sounded like but he didn't show us footage of him offing the guy.
