Etherlords?! I have that game, never quite got to playing it (mostly because I didn't understand the gameplay), but the combo of dueling and exploring looked cool. Plus the exotic designs for the various creatures were pretty inspired.

Sounded to me more like he wanted to make a longer video only to realize halfway through there was no content to use
