Yeah if she's all into killer/psycho people from indie series, then I wonder why she hasn't become kin yet to Madotsuki from Yume Nikki, Iwamine Shuu from Hatoful Boyfriend, or Alfred Drevis from Mad Father. They're all psycho killers from games that have at least some fandom presence on Tumblr. The first character even has the bland-ish personality and possible mental illness she could project herself onto! Though I guess according to her "before you follow" section she isn't too keen on manga/anime. I guess these characters are too "Japanese" for her, since they were made by Japanese people?
Yeah, in reality mental illness is as pleasant and glamorous as any other bodily illness, like the flu or something. Shaking chills, high fever, and malaise from the flu certainly isn't very pleasant or glamorous. Neither is hypersomnia, diminished self-worth, or social withdrawal from clinical depression. They're diseases. They're not cool, nor something you're supposed to want!

It kind of starts off with people self-diagnosing with depression or anxiety, then maybe a personality disorder or autism, and then they self-diagnose with extreme disorders like DID, schizophrenia, BPD, or psychopathy.

BPD is a personality disorder (it stands for Borderline Personality Disorder), but I see what you mean. Tbh I never quite understood why autism is so popular amongst the self-dxing crowd... doesn't having autism require having delayed speech development? Like certainly, you'd probably know from your parents or something if you had problems with that. I'm guessing most tumblr people probably diagnose themselves with Aspergers, because that's the one ASD that doesn't require delayed speech.
One thing that does surprise me a little bit is that everyone seems to self-diagnose with BPD much more than other personality disorders. I can understand why people would self-diagnose with BPD, but I don't quite get why loads more people self-diagnose with it than any of the other personality disorders.
Ah, I know that BPD is a personality disorder (I was going to clarify but didn't, I probably should have). Autism is fairly popular among the Tumblr crowd because a lot of people who use Tumblr were once the "weird kid", or still are the "weird kid". They don't fit in with other people. Autism is much more than that (as you said, delayed speech development is ONE of the factors but it's not required I think). It's not just about the "social awkwardness" or the "weirdness". Autism is an absolutely massive spectrum, meaning that every autistic person is unique in their own way in terms of how it affects them. Which is why it's very easy to self-diagnose with it -- it has a huge diagnosis range. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that you have it. It may even mean that you have some of the traits of autism which are actually another disorder or something like that. Also there's debate over whether or not Asperger's is even a thing in the first place, I mostly just see them saying that they've diagnosed themselves as autistic. Or even if they have been officially diagnosed, I usually just see the term "autism" being used.
As for Borderline Personality Disorder, a lot of people who self-diagnose with BPD are young(er) teens and they know they have attention issues. They crave a huge amount of attention. That's just part of going through puberty (that's not to say that someone can start to develop a personality disorder at a young age, but a lot of the time issues during the teen years are due to hormonal changes and such). And upon learning about BPD, they say, "Hey, I have attention issues! I get jealous over friends!", so they slap on Borderline Personality Disorder as if it's a get out of jail free card. BPD can be terrifying, as can all mental and personality disorders. BPD seems to be the most common self-diagnosed disorder right now, kind of how like DID or Autism was all the rage a while back as well. I have two friends who are 14/15 years old (within that age category) and they've both self-diagnosed with BPD (to be fair though, one of them are actually diagnosed autistic, so I'll give them that). It may be very true that someone is struggling with mental illness, but it may also be just them struggling to get through their hormonal teen years. You really can't tell over Tumblr. However, you definitely can tell when someone is using their illnesses as an excuse to be a piece of shit. *cough* Springy.
Thanks to these people (including people like Springtrapp), I denied I was even mentally in the first place for over 5 years. I struggled for so many years trying to pretend that I was normal and okay, even if I was having a complete breakdown

More likely, they realize that doctors would understand that they're faking nearly all of their 'illnesses' for attention, which would completely shut down their tumblr pity party
Or the doctors will diagnose them with something they don't want to be diagnosed with in the first place. Like depression or anxiety. Pft, that's too boring of a mental illness. You need to go to the EXTREME.
Doctors are reluctant to diagnose things like BPD in the first place. Of course they don't want their self-diagnoses to be crushed by an evil, scary doctor. They want to whole-heartedly believe that they're fucked up and cuhrayzee psychos. I mean, who doesn't?

I was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified, which was folded into autism. Looking at the characteristics (Communication difficulties and difficulty with social behavior? My friends don't get my jokes! Difficulty with changes? When my locker combo changed, I used the old one for two weeks! Uneven skill development? I can type fast, but can't run half a mile straight! Unusual play with toys and other objects? [DATA EXPUNGED]. Repetitive body movements or behavior patterns? I always go home and eat snack after school before my homework!), because it's so open, there's a lot of ways that it could apply--which is why I think so many Tumblrinas go for autism. And why bother having to go to assorted types of therapy (OT, PT, Speech, etc.) for years to just socialize? PDD-NOS is milder--so anyone can collect the Free Pity Points (TM) associated with it!

I think it's possible, because honestly there has to be a reason in here somewhere for why she acts the way she does. However, seeing her define the conversation with gemflux as "sexual abuse" makes me wonder what really happened with the woman she calls her rapist.

This is the concern I have too. They're using the completely wrong terms to describe things that have happened to them. At the very most, the conversation was sexual harassment, but it's most definitely not sexual abuse.

It's funny how it says 'taking advantage of victims not able to give consent'. That didn't happen, period. Hell, the other person in the chat (gemflux) wasn't able to give consent, according to Springy. Why the fuck do they throw around words without knowing what they mean?

I skimmed through it (and cringed pretty hard, ngl). Even claiming it to be sexual harassment is going a tad bit too far. Springy is trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.
Now that I think of them mixing stuff up, they always seem to mix up the concept of 'otherkin' and 'alters'....hm.
That's not to say I'd ever discount someone's claims of sexual assault, especially if someone like Springy has said they have been sexually assaulted before. That's a potentially life-altering event. It's just that saying that someone has sexually assaulted you in the past is a pretty damn serious allegation. Plus, judging on how Springy somehow cannot understand how sexual abuse works or what it even means, we really can't know what their 'sexual assault' really was in the first place.
