I am a baseball fanatic and have been since I was very young. I didn't always like sports, but I loved numbers in gaming. I didn't like games like Zelda with hearts and puzzles etc. I loved these Baseball Simulator 1.000 games. I used to have an autistic annoyance with Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball simply because they cut corners by truncating a batting average instead of rounding up. For example 2/7 would be .285 in the Ken Griffey Jr. games, but Super Baseball Simulatior had the right numbers.
My favorite is Baseball Mogul because it isn't processor intensive. I can annoy you guys, play WoW, and run a baseball game all at once!
The other is Out of the Park baseball which the hardcore fanatics love, but it's just too gamey for me and has microtransactions lately.
Football Manager I will guess is something you guys play if you're into soccer.
