I gave this prompt to an AI. "In a dark misty forest at night, a man is facing the viewer, holding a lantern high in fear of some unseen horror. Use red-orange for the lantern flame. The frame should mostly be taken up by the man and lantern." I wanted to match the red-orange of the site, and I also prompted a banner image of the misty spooky woods.

I always try to match up the banner image with the pfp. I think this combo works.

(Roger Deakins shot both movies so the compatibility of color temperatures is pretty natural.)
 
Last year I found two spooky Alices so I suppose I'll swap between them year on year until a) #dropkiwifarms wins, b) Null ragequits, or c) the heat death of the universe.
 
The hardest part for me was thinking of a scary song lyric that would fit the character limit.
