SpongeBob Squarepants, Yay or Nay - What is your honest opinion on the long running cartoon, and do you, or don't like it?

The first four seasons were fine. Everything after the first movie is disgusting degenerate garbage. The movie was supposed to be the original ending for the show and the show runner and creator Stephen hillenburg gave up all of his other titles to exclusively become an executive producer and pretty much just take a paycheck after that first movie. He did come back briefly before he died and rode a couple episodes apparently but I don't really have enough interest to go see if they are anything worth seeing

Early SpongeBob is kino and is one of the best western cartoons. I can rewatch those first few seasons and still laugh at them.

+1 for saying the early seasons were kino and I still think they're worth watching as someone pushing 40 years old.

I loved the original four seasons and looking back, are some of the most important relics in western animation for the 21st century.

What came after is the exploitation of historical media, just like what happened to Mickey Mouse.
