Oh my...

Time to bail from DC everyone.

Relax, I just learned that it's a fake so I expect to receive some negative rep for being gullible. Though I wouldn't have minded seeing Tom King on Superman. Something tells me that DC doesn't want Slott near any of their heavy hitters.
Yeah, it looked like a meme. People were already making jokes about Bendis being put on Superman right away because he made some comments about being inspired at some exhibit on the Man of Steel. Slott once made a comment about how the only DC character he thought was really cool was Batman so same logic there.

I have no idea what Slott would be doing with his life since all he ever wanted was writing Spider-Man and it's more likely Bendis would be put on some teen book.

I know that there is the Comicsgate thread, but the meme does make me wonder. Would DC even want to hire Dan Slott because of his shenanigans on Twitter and social media? The same can said for Mark Waid, who has hinted at a desire to return to DC despite falling out with Dan DiDio. One thing I noticed from many DC creators is a greater deal of professionalism and usually do not go out of their way to antagonize readers who criticize them.

Scott Snyder, who is arguably their biggest writer after Geoff John's, and someone who should be doing what he wants with no fucks given, talked about DMing his critics (even the obnoxious ones) and asking them for feedback.

That's just beyond professionalism at this point.

EXILES_001_CVR_MARQUEZ1-720x1093.jpg

Marvel. What. Did. You. Do. To. Blink.
On one hand I hate that they tumblr'd up the Exiles as that series was right up my alley with the mutliversal adventures fixing errors thing but on the other hand this is 10/10 pottery because this means these guys are literally exiled and rejected by their home universes. I don't care if that's an unintentional message, it's still amuses me.

Just postin to let you know that Stan Lee was just accused of sexual harassment.

Sounds like a SJW bullshit story in revenge for all their snowflake comics getting cancelled and Cebulski not being instantly fired.

It's a shame I missed all the Marvel drama over Christmas, catching up on all the salt has been amusing. I'm just really glad Bendis is gone, because I'm pretty sure he was patient zero of the poz infestation.

One of my all time favorite Spider-Man stories (alongside Superior Spider-Man and Ultimate Spider-Man) has to be “Shed,”
7D66CA19-467F-4D3B-B359-6A0FFED7B8F4.jpeg

It’s a dark (but not 3edgy5me levels) story revolving mostly around Dr. Conners, and him trying to get his son back from Foster Care, but his brain is simply too reptilian to comprehend basic human feelings, he sees his lab as his territory, gets incredibly bitter when the lab assistant he has a crush on talks with other guys, what makes matters worse for him is that the reptile part of him is taking over, not wanting his primal instincts around, and he needs medications to keep his transformation of the Lizard from happening, the longer he’s kept from the medicine, the more he devolves as a person. The comic isn’t about a big “good vs. evil” story, it’s about a man’s struggle not to completely self-destruct.
When he inevitably does turn into the Lizard again, the Lizard side wants his human side completely gone, so forcing the locigal side of Conners to watch, the Lizard actively hunts down and eats Conners’ son Billy. The reason Spider-Man didn’t stop it, was because of the overarching story at the time (the Kravenoff Children kidnapping Madame Webb and interfering with her prophecies) keeping him from arriving in time.
What made the this so impactful however, was not the fact that a child dies, but when Conners, so ashamed and horrified with what he’s done, commits what could be considered mental suicide, completely giving up, and letting the Lizard completely take over.

Ok, i'm not sure if this has been discussed; DC's Doomsday clock is kinda pissing away everything that made watchmen watchmen.

What exactly is wrong with the story?
Oh , they brought back Rorschach as Rorshach II ( making the death of the original pointless ) the ambiguous ending of Watchmen is revealed that Ozimandias was found to be responsible for the alien shit , the Comedian has been revived (making one of the main plot points and drive of the comic kinda mute ) and apparently Dr Manhattan is back on his earth .
