This week's power ranger oneshot written by Margueritte Bennet was one of the gayest shit I ever read.
It did include two lesbian rangers who were maried to each other, but the gayest shit wasn't even this, but the whole Andros x Zayne shit in this.

Every scene with them has them drawn as almost fucking each other, it was so fucking gay I bet the artist was a fujo or something.

Not to sound like a self hating sexist but these comics and characters were made by women. Specifically white, college educated, upper middle class women whose only interaction with gay people is from binge watching RuPauls Drag Race and from living in places like Seattle, Portland or LA.

Not entirely. SpiderFag was at least partially created by a gay.
It is funny to me how Marvel always seems to hire the most stereotypical gay men to write gay characters for them. From what gay men I have come across in my life tell me, most gays absolutely despise "flamers" and view them the same way that straight men view BPD women.

Perhaps some do but I suspect most are lying, just to try and fit in with the Normals.
"Yeah, I suck dicks and I'll probably groom your sons, but I'm not like those other faggots."

The only other big spite moment in comics was the whole Mattie Franklin deal where Bendis had her raped, addicted to drugs, and her body harvested because Byrne said that Alias looked like a shitty police procedural (it is). Bendis takes the cake for breaking toys with how petty he was with Joe Q's blessing.

The brighter the flame, the easier it is to hide behind.

I am reading one of the Dune comics that was made after the first book of the adaptation.
It is by other two dudes, but clearly there is a gigantic discrepancy in quality in the dialogues and settings, almost like it is a saturday AM cartoon

Fun fact; it's been long rumored that Speedball was originally supposed to be the person that had that done to them (minus the rape) but editorial interjected and suggested Mattie Franklin, who was pretty much universally DESPISED whereas doing that to Speedball would create a ton of issues, both with his fans and most notably since in those early days, it was nebulous as to whether or not Alias was even canon or an alt universe like Chuck Austen's War Machine mini.

Also, Bendis has a huge fucking love/hate relationship with Byrne; his entire Avengers run was built on continuing the rape of Scarlet Witch committed by Byrne and Bendis explicitly wanted Byrne to draw one of the Illuminati specials he wrote. But Bendis cynically badmouthed Byrne and mocked him in Powers (the only thing in that series that anyone remembers) early in his career to get good boy points (back when Byrne was at his most hated) and Byrne has NEVER forgiven Bendis for that.

Christopher Priest complained in an interview that Marvel these days listens too much to people on Twitter and only hires black writes to hire black characters, gays to write gay characters and so on. I think they're trying to shield themselves from criticism, but it usually just means the comic is going to suck.

Priest has worked in this industry long enough to understand that real money/impact is in writing Batman, Spider-Man or X-Men, not Black X or Gay X. Wouldn't be surprised if he is getting more from currently writing Vampirella than he did for his Black Panther work.

And those stereotypical gays? They probably get paid bare minimum.

I possess a great admiration for Christopher Priest for both his talent and candor. Unfortunately, Marvel had been leaning in that direction since the 2000s as Priest left industry because the big two would only offer titles with a black lead and only returned when DC gave him Deathstroke as part of Rebirth.

Has anyone read the new Crime Syndicate stuff? I reread Forever Evil and kinda want to see more of those idiots.

It's a bit weird because Priest got pissed about having to do it, I remember him being more bearable than Dwayne MacDuffie. Both DC and Marvel were doing it because they wanted more and more of the black market share because the success of Static Shock and Blade. Priest generally just wanted to play with the supporting casts rather than invent new characters and criticized Black Panther with a character that is basically an African Warlord recently.

I honestly think MacDuffie was the sort of guy who would in modern day commission hentai of black characters fucking other characters from the few posts on forums that still exist. Priest has a history of browsing 4chan back in the day and being a faggot about people calling him nigger, but MacDuffie was a giant gay baby about people criticizing him.

I have acquired a first comic novel in my life, in form of Maus.
It's rather boring and quite bleak, I do not see a reason for it to be groundbreaking. Honestly I've purchased it just to place it in a convenient place at my office, to appeal to some of the clients.

It's garbage; most notably embodied by the writers making Earth 3 Donna Troy instead of Wonder Woman or Lois Lane, so they can keep up the "Donna Troy: Mass Murderess" thing DiDio and the Finches seem to want to push to defile Donna like they did Wally.

Maus's reputation comes from the fact that there was absolutely nothing like it being published at the time in the 1980s. It was also, in spite of being done with furry characters, very realistic and drew upon the real life horrors of the Holocaust along with having a "true story" element to them as far as being based on the writer's father's own experience during the Holocaust.

Most comics awards were, and still are, given by Jews. However, back in the 80's you still had illustrators who gave a shit so it had to have some technical skill. The 2nd Generation of Nepotistic hires were still King in the 80's (Kirby, Lee, Eisner are the types). If you believe in the whole Jews run the media stuff then Jews hiring other Jews or their nephews, cousins, or fellow chosens isn't anything new. Issue is that when the businesses were new you had to hire actual talent. Your Jewish nephew couldn't do fuck all and let paid reviewers shill his bullshit.

My perspective is that after the 3rd Generation it just gets fucking terrible where there's a decline in quality. We're currently in the 4th and 5th Generation and the entrenched middle men care about the institution more than the goals of the institution. Art Spiegalman's daughter is further proof of this bullshit. Maus is only good for his dad knowing you can't relax around Blacks.
