1. Refused to feature the Kyle Rayner GL in JLU except for an episode designed purely to crap all over him and at one point even declared "the Superman episode with Kyle Rayner is the only DCAU episode that isn't canon" because it drove him insane that a GL existed before JL/JLU used John, prior to being forced to finally address the issue of what happened to Kyle in said above episode.

2. Treated John Stewart as his Gary Stu self-insert, complete with the Hawkgirl relationship being him inserting himself fucking the heroine and cucking a stand-in for Hawkman because McDuffie was a bitter failure who was rapidly burning his bridges in Warner Brothers animation because he wanted Static Shock to run indefinitely simply because it was a black super-hero show.

3. Explicitly requested Hal be removed from the JLA team book when he was given the book and was dead set on pairing John and Hawkgirl up and had his first issue be him attacking fans for not worshipping John.

4. While pushing John, he also demanded Black Lightning be removed from the book and openly complained when he was forced to take on Vixen and Jason Rusch Firestorm, right down to having a character explicitly complain about Vixen existing and the fact that he was ordered to wrap up a dangling plot line from the previous writer involving Vixen.

5. DC had to announce a new JLA spin-off that would feature Hal leading his own team due to Dwayne's actions pissing off fans and causing sales to crash and when that spin-off fell into massive delays over the artist being slow (resulting in the ongoing being scrapped and being repurposed into what became the Cry For Justice mini), Dwayne was forced to pull John from the book and replace him with Hal for about 5-6 issues.

6. On the same DC message board where he blamed everyone but himself for his JLA run being a complete and total failure, he also said that if you like ANY of the non John Stewart Lanterns (Guy, Hal, Kyle), "You were a KKK member" right before what became his last issue was published; as Dwayne had become so utterly toxic that DC had to get Len Wein to come out of retirement to write 3-4 issues to stabilize sales; at which point James Robinson (who was writing the announced Hal lead JLA spin-off that became Cry For Justice) was asked point blank "You want to write JLA proper?".

Dwayne was a race baiting douchebag and made John so radioactive, Simon Bazz was created EXPLICITLY to have a black Green Lantern DC could market due to John being damaged goods because of McDuffie.
 
i know it was a few pages ago, but just thought i'd say i've had family who have personally worked with Weisman and can confirm he's an idiot.

you guys mentioned it was Broadway who was going to be gay, i'm not going to argue with autists who probably looked into this more than me.

but i thought it was meant to be Lexington because Lexington's voice actor was gay, is that correct or am I just fat and stupid

Xanatos and Fox apparently have an open relationship, Fox is bi and every sexual malfunction is retroactively represented in this 90s cartoon.

I knew one of them was and I assumed Broadway because he's fat, named Broadway, and was friends with the other gay one. I mixed him up with Lexignton because I think Broadway was the one who shot himself in the gun safety PSA and I assumed he wanted to die because none of the others wanted to fuck him in the ass.

I used to troll on /co/ by reminding everyone that his Justice League run is only good relative to how shit comics are and how he was a cunt on the forums. /co/ enshrined him as some great black creator. Static the comic was not that good and had no direction. Dude was an egomaniac about the cartoons. They've turned him into a martyr and I'm pretty sure the black mod they had perma banned me at some point. They act like they killed him instead of his bad eating habits.

i really can't elaborate without just doxing myself.

it wasn't young justice though, it was a long time ago. he just wanted to take some shows in one direction, a really stupid direction, and people i know wanted to take it in another direction, the direction it ended up going which, judging from public reaction, was for the best.

I knew Greg was a fag, but his way of writing just perfectly encapsulates fag shit. The second and third paragraph are just peak, "I'm better than you, so I'll go on a tangent before calling you stupid." Only fags and pseudo-intellectual faggots do that shit. The dude is a 40-50(?) year-old white guy without kids or a wife and he's still in the fucking closet, he can't admit to being a fag when every show he has needs a character that's 'gay coded'.
I'm not a huge fan of Greg Wiseman shows. Spider-Man is incredibly hard to do wrong, a poor-yet-bright kid fucks up and decides to try to do the right thing. Gargoyles was always really fucking boring to me, just didn't like any of the characters. It felt like the Sam's Club brand superhero show.

It really is amusing how prevalent insanity is amongst comic creators and those who adapt their work into other mediums. Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Bruce Timm, Greg Wiseman, Zack Snyder, any of the blue hair nu-hires, Dan Slott, Jeph Loeb, Bendis and so many more.

I don’t know how this strain of insufferable insanity came about but it is entertaining.

It's one of my favorite episodic adventure comics bar none. Some of the most entertaining stories I've enjoyed in the medium. Bit late of a post to be replying to but I just figured I'd jump in and say that you're not alone in the Usagi love.

Recently I tried to get caught up on some old Batman issues and stories I'd missed and I've come to the conclusion that the character really just works best when he's in an isolated universe without all the other bullshit getting in the way. I really don't like Batman when he's palling around with Superman and fighting godlike beings because they always stretch his abilities to an insane degree to make him keep up, which turns a fun fantasy wish-fulfillment character into the worst kind of Gary Stu masturbatory bullshit.
