I stumbled upon the quest that perfectly defines Sufficent (commie) Velocity:
i thought this was a fucking parody for a few seconds
It's an actual AOC fanfic. Hilarity. Or it would be were it not for it being a fic that includes gloating about Kirk's death where the audience are blatantly wanking about how great it's going to be to murder Trump "in fiction."
jesus fucking christ
Not really, they tend to be OK with it when the strongman is on their side, but your point has some standing in that they are absolutely alergic to the idea of proper power.

By that I mean they are disgusted and horrified at the idea of direct applications of power and naked displays of strength. In their mind all governments should do things in accordance to "the letter of law", which to them means the long and drawn out bureaucratic process and worship of The System. Kinda like how you never see people on this sites just go "dude fuck you stop shitting the thread" but instead they have to warp their words in a veneer of civility and go "could you guys please keep it on topic"? The mods never go "banned this dude for shitting the thread" they always go "user XXX has been banned for violating Rule 3.b on off topic discussion".

They worship this sort of bureaucratization and appeals to procedures, systems and legalisms. Something like just getting off your ass and punching someone is too direct, too strong for them.
more proof autism isn't intelligence

The process is the punishment for society. It is much like in RoboCop 2, where RoboCop is rebuilt with a million useless directives added to deliberately obstruct him from stopping crime.

Would including Althistory.com on here be a good idea or would it clog up the thread too much? It is within the Spacebattles sphere, but I wouldn't call it a splinter site.

Way back in 2001, before the Indian Menace popularized the term izzat, the sociologist Steven Dutch published an essay titled "The World's Most Toxic Value System" studying it under the term thar and describing its incidence in multiple cultures all over the world. It was reposted in the Sneedch in 2020. Here's what their founder and original head admin (a trans neopagan monarchist) had to say about it:

I defend the so-called “Thar” culture as being the inevitable and normal human social organisation from which distortions cannot long last... So a reversion to it is inevitable, one way or another. Of course, I also object to the entire idea as being an absurd sweeping generalisation which makes concepts of family, village and tribe in rural Egypt, Sicily and matrilineal/matrifocal Sumatra somehow equivalents. Go ahead and quote me on all of that.
One guesses that we can summarize Zoe/Tyanna's personality as "hijra".

As an aside, something I have been having trouble with is finding drama outside of their politics section, are there any ways you would recommend to find them?

I wonder if there is a way to search for posts with Moderator warnings? Or threads by staff posts? That would quickly yield the location of possible drama clusters in the site.

If that search criteria isn't available here, on the forum for gossiping about internet drama, I can guarantee it's not available on SB/SV/other offshoots.

My best idea on this front is just scrolling through subforums and looking at any locked topic. It's going to have a really low hit rate, though, since the number of threads that turn into hilarious autistic slapfights or creeps writing fanfics that turn into erotica with teens is very small.

Couldn't you just look through moderators' post history? Besides doing it manually, you can scrape them and have a little script or a clanker go through the posts to see which ones are moderation actions.

CrW mods recently made a post, (A) made on how to be able to detect AI generated stories.

Obviously, AI on these types of sites can be controversial even at the best of times, and a large number of arguments began on the post about how one would actually be able to find if something is AI generated. I wasn't able to get screenshots of everything, but I think I got the highlights or at least more interesting parts.

I wonder how many people are afraid to speak up on the issues that also come from ESL writers using AI to try and enter a english speaking space. And of course pajeets trying to do the needful.

I am surprised at how many people are speaking up about the obvious fucking issue of "so the solution to avoid AI drama is to instead vaguepost about it?" It really brings back the issue I mentioned a while ago of the refusal to just get off their high horses and be direct about things. The HRification of society is on full display here: don't confront the issue, instead you should carefully walk around it and nudge things as to not rock the boat and maintain the illusion of cohesion.

No. If some fucker starts posting Worm Self Insert N. 334 with em-dashes and reddit speak just tell them to fuck off with the GPT writing and be done with it. It's a fucking internet nerd forum nigger not the fucking Library of Congress.

https://discord.gg/ctVF2reZ Spacebattles' woke ass discord.
https://discord.gg/vPYUg7wEu "Tough SF" seems to be a sister discord that's even more woke and irritating. Absolutely, positively tranny infested. I think the owner of TSF works for Kurzgesagt.

Both somehow have actual scientists mixed in with the troons. Also the Space Battles discord logo is perma-gay/tranny. TSF is arguably worth a feature at some point but that's a lot of work to say "trannies and regular autists shit things up."
