Honestly, I'm reaching Murtaugh levels of 'getting too old for this shit' at this point. People might call me a coward for not fighting back, or not joining in on the boycott, and I really don't give a shit anymore. I've got older games I play. I don't pay for PS+ anymore (That's the only thing I can actively join in because it saves me $20 bucks a month), or buy anything new off the PS store. Everything in AAA gaming is fake and gay right now, and I've largely concentrated on PC and Indies for the last few months. I'm seriously considering selling my PS5, but who would actually buy it now?

I don't think it's as bad as you think; his catalog goes back more than 40 years, sure, but since the PS1 he's been with Insomniac and Naughty Dog as a producer every step down their path to Hell.

Sony is committing seppuku with every modern move. From cancelling discs to now cancelling their partnership with a gaming industry veteran (even if you have your opinions on Kojima, it’s undeniable this is bad optically), they’re basically letting Xbox take advantage of their mistakes.

Kojima Productions were involved heavily with the Decima engine for Horizon. I was told those games sold a morbillion copies and is a trillion dollar franchise, why would they kill a partnership like that

Fake/baked/forced/bundled sales "don't count" or something similarly retarded, I'm sure. Horizon is the most astroturfed IP in gaming history, but I have no doubt the dumb goober at the top (Herman something?) who's made it "his baby" keeps close tabs on actual sales of that garbage and knows it isn't going anywhere he can't shovel it into by force.
Gentle reminder that Sony's also been lying about sales numbers and fudging how they report things for years now trying to keep the PS2 on top of the "most lifetime hardware sales" chart. No reason not to expect they're cooking their books on Horizon franchise sales.
