I imagine Sony's California offices are staffed with the kind of people who actually would have a nervous breakdown if one autist turned up with a sign saying "no disc = no buy".
I can only assume Druckmann somehow still has enough pull with Hulst from coasting off The Last of Us to keep his "game" alive, but between its reportedly ballooning budget and the multiple live service bombs I'd imagine both their seats would be getting pretty fucking hot if Sony was a competently run company.
As is, I just know whoever rises in their place is either going to be somehow even MORE retarded, or is going to be a blatant hatchet man to try and wrangle the books/get the studios actually producing shit again.
I presume all their recent bloviating about how they won't tolerate people "abusing their support staff" is meant to imply (or openly threaten) they'll brick your console if you offend enough of their cow worshipers in the support department.
I haven’t bought a brand new PlayStation since the PS2. My wife bought me a PS3 in 2008 for Christmas and I bought a used PS4 Pro. Their services, I haven’t bought in a few years. And I’ve only bought games that were on a sale.
Naughty Dog and Insomniac are all Sony have left. They can't afford another publicity black eye after the Bungie write-down earlier this year so they'll let Neil keep making his shitty game then probably axe the studio next gen after it fails, because there is no way it makes its money back even if it somehow turns out to be a good game.
Whats with that annoying guy narrating these shows and who writes the scripts ? Almost as bad as the fake gameplay segments that were all the rave last decade with voice actors pretending to be normal people playing games. Shut up.
