It is only for their """cinematic""" single player games that they reversed this decision. They are going to continue pushing multiplayer live-service type games with tons of Micro-transactions and Battle Passes on PC because there is no way they are going to lose on that revenue stream since those games pull overwhelmingly better numbers on that platform.

Currently Marvel Tokon: Fighting Spirits is scheduled to release on August 6 and Sony never losing a chance to step on multiple rakes have made, yet again, PSN accounts linking mandatory to play the game. They had an Open Beta recently and the game reportedly ran like ass on even beefy PCs.

lol they don't bother paying them anymore. They're well-trained at this point. They just bribe them with "early access" and "exclusives" and the occasional BPD whore (who are also rarely, if ever, actually paid) when they find the rare journoscum with a penis who is still marginally interested in vagina.

This. It's mostly just clan tags, a couple screwing around with random ascii characters or emojis, at least one in the right column is german, and "lol you can't report me because you can't type my name out" shit. Nothing unusual about this in the slightest.

turns out you were right, it was a patent Sony filed in 2024, but the US version of the patent was in January of this year and well... another instance of people having thier brains turn by searching through patents Sony has that's digital related given thats the future Sony seemingly wants to go in.

Even if the idea actually might have some merit, the reception to it after it was dug up wasn't too happy.

How in the good God damn is this supposed to work? It barely does for mobile, and that's only because you're looking at the thing 100% of the time. It may through some fancy new rumble tech, but with the increased cost of that you may as well have buttons still.

I'd rather trust a Logitech F710. Least we know what kind of pressure that can handle - I wouldn't trust this thing on the first bout of Gamer Rage...

VW deleting buttons from their cars for touch controls has been a mistake for the human race, and now that shit is spreading to game controllers too?!
