Sure. Power is just a standard 2 pin power cable, maybe most commonly seen used in radios and tape decks and you can reuse the one from the PS1 to power the PSX. Or use the one from grandmas radio. The AV output port has of course changed over the years but I'm pretty sure PS1 and PS2 had the exact same port.

No, they did not, and guess what? There weren't enough memory cards to go around at launch. Good times.
It took me like a year to convince my parents to get me a memory card, and then they bought me some weird cheap one that I had to use a disc before playing my game to use. It took like another year to get a proper one.

Back in 2017, I remember the YouTuber Taki Udon used to show videos about this PS2 Portable that was on AliExpress, and to see five years later more people making videos about this is nice and funny at the same time.

If I’m not able to get a Valve Steam Deck, I’m genuinely this close to buying one just for convenience sake. This one doesn’t look too bad as one would think, though I’m aware that this is just my unpopular opinion.
For nostalgia purposes, this would be pretty cool. It basically looks like a PS Vita.
It's like Sony hasn't learned from the PS3.
Bring back the Spider-Man font, unironically. I really liked that font and those movies were cool.

Jesus Christ, Sony. That's half the price of the fucking digital console.

At this rate PSVR2 is probably gonna cost $600 or more.

So let me get this straight:

Microsoft buys Activision Blizzard.
Sony complains that they are losing Call of Duty.
Microsoft agrees they'll keep putting out COD on PS systems for a few more years.
Sony complains that Call of Duty will be free on Game Pass and they can't compete.
Microsoft offers to put Game Pass on PlayStation.
Sony: no.
>competitor gives out product for cheap
>your solution is to accept let them open a booth in your store

I get this is the dedicated shit on sony thread, but ffs people need to get some fucking perspective.

or to be more straight: let me know when microsoft accepts steam on xbox.

LMFAO. Yes. They're still butthurt that Microsoft might do to them what they did to Microsoft for fucking years, and NOW suddenly it's a problem.
wait, what AAA publisher did sony buy when I wasn't looking? or do you mean timed exclusives, the same shit microsoft did or never bothered to outbit sony?

Does anyone actually use those back triggers? I have them on my 8Bitdo Pro 2 and they just get in the way.
I have those paddles on my Xbox Elite controller, they're great as a substitute for clicking the analog sticks.

Instead of crying about CoD, Sony should make a great Killzone...if they can anymore. Which they can't.

Sony STILL has exclusivity to CoD, even WITH the MS acquisition. So no CoD on Game Pass for a time until that expires.

So, again, Sony is being quite hypocritical. MS is doing a noble thing by letting prior contracts go through.

Yep. Microsoft is allowing their prior contracts with the brand finish before any talks of exclusivity for games / content go through, and not only is Sony being hypocritical, they're also devaluing themselves without realizing that people have receipts of them doing this exact same bullshit with multiplatform releases all the fucking time.

Sony is STILL upset at this MS acquisition. Evidently, I'm seeing several news reports of MS "wanting to add" Game Pass to PlayStation, Sony said no.

Sony is being extremely historic. CoD would STILL be on PlayStation with this acquisition. Put that energy into your exclusives.
Taking the extension would give plenty of time to shop around for a dev to make a new Killzone, Resistance, or SOCOM game. SOCOM especially as their only competitor would be Rainbow Six, and Ubisoft are trying their hardest to mess that franchise up.

But this is exactly what Jim Ryan is fighting against. He doesn't want to rise to the competition. They had PSNow for years before Gamepass, and before it was always an afterthought. No marketing, no hype, just... there. They had to be dragged into improving it, like the quaint idea of letting you install games. But it's still behind in that they won't put their games day-one on it. So they sure as heck won't want to bother with (relatively) smaller games like Killzone or SOCOM that won't guarantee millions of sales like their others.

If the deal somehow falls through, it'll probably fuck with ABK's stock and they'll be less likely to cooperate with Sony. I'd laugh if they decided to make Xbox/PC exclusives anyway after the deal fell, and put the blame on Jim Ryan.

I wouldn't call it noble, but it's still very nice. Could easily buy out of it, or bought out of others like Wasteland 3, Psychonauts 2, Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo if they really wanted to.

I'm talking about the time exclusives / exclusive DLC content.

Oh yes, Microsoft did the same kind of shit too, but we're talking about Sony's own hypocrisy regarding that. Things existed fine for years with different versions of games getting exclusive characters, etc and no one had a problem with it. Look at Soul Calibur. No one really had issues with that kind of shit going on.

Microsoft is ALLOWING the previous contracts that Sony had with Activision Blizzard to go through and complete before they even think about putting new games exclusively on Game Pass, but that's not to say old / dead games won't appear there. I'd look for shit like the old Modern Warfare trilogy to start popping up in Game Pass before I'd see any Modern CoD on there. Maybe Advanced Warfare or Infinite Warfare could show up. It just depends.

Sony's being a whiny bitch.

They probably don't have much choice but to honor their existing contracts. There may be a way around it, I'm not a business lawyer but it's probably prudent or at least less of a hassle to just let things continue as they were established.
