That reminded me of that Soyny Stan, that praised TLOU2 for having unique fruit design and physics:

I can't think of a single thing you could really do with a basket of fruit in a game today that you couldn't do in Half Life 2. Model it with tons and tons of very tiny voxels so you can break it apart dynamically, I guess?

No surprise that the stinginess can also affect best selling games that did not need to be remastered in the first place. Collectors editions getting messed up in ways like these is just proof that yet again, Sony does not care for their customers.

Shilling going strong, I see.

If it's just the box, whatever. Shit happens in transit sometimes.

Wow. Something Skyrim modders figured out in 2011. That aside, I love these sorts of autistic details in games.

That tweet's written in a way to where you could interpret it as both positive or negative. Why yes, it does ruin my day that Sony's unironically charging $70 for a remake that looks kinda worse than the PS3 version, which was graphically impressive enough to have details like the girl's sleeve wrinkling dynamically, soft shadows, and faces that aren't gross and straight from the uncanny valley.

The absolute state of video games, where remakes look worse than what some autistic modders could fart out in a hacked version of the game, playable in an emulator. I see zero value in this filth unless they let me do autistic modding like being able to swap Joel's model with Shrek or something.

Especially when PC modders could do the same, sometimes BETTER, for FREE. There's no excuse of why this couldn't be an update.

Who the fuck even has a 1440p TV? Far as I'm aware, TVs jumped right to 4k, and nobody with a decent PC is buying one of these things unless you love Ratchet and Clank and have money to burn.
It’s for pc monitors because despite all the 4K shenanigans the best performances framewise for 120fps are on monitors on 1440p.

I get that this idiot is probably trying to prove a point that TLOU2 focuses quite a lot on the autistic details, but trying to prove freaking apples when any other game does it even from back then is stupid.

Unrelated, but posting in this thread honestly just made me miss the times when I played my PSP though and given how apparently PS Vita is still used for homebrewing even when it was discontinued the sperg in me feels sad. :heart-empty:

Imagine buying a $500 console and a $70 game just to have highly detailed, generated apples. You could go to the store, snap a picture of apples and get the same quality for LESS.

And how much did all these apples cost us, Mr. Druckmann? Oh so they are 3D scanned, surely that made them much cheaper? Uh-huh, those are normal apple prices, Mr. Druckmann, that's not what we meant.
...and what did all this equipment and crew cost us? You are an idiot, Mr. Druckmann, making apples have slightly different shapes is something the interns should do.

There was some good stuff in the absolute state of play, but overall it sucked ass.

project eve lookin pretty good in certain aspects.
