None of that means that the games are being specifically designed for Western audiences. Kill yourself. When DQ11 came out people were slightly offput with how the characters moved in 3d and that they looked a little off but as they played the game they got used to it. But that was mostly the case with how UE4 rendered stuff out.
With UE5 it would just ramp it up further you can already see what they're doing with the lava. I think they're definitely going to change the character proportions a bit from what the typical norm of dragon quest is.
Final Fantasy did this and replaced main character design artists too.
I mean I don't think they'll go Full Berserk or something like that, but they're going to probably resemble closer to what the movie had. It's still distinctly Dragon Quest but it's not done in Toriyama's style. Hell they're already changing the Dragon Quest logo to have that fiery XII in the background. Usually the games kept the Roman Numerals close to the same font.
I mean how many styles of Links have we gone through? This doesn't really hurt long standing series to have visual refreshes.
They're spin-offs, you fucking retard. Kill yourself.I think they're clearly looking to try and redefine dragon quest with this one.
That and games like Dragon Quest Treasures are already not using his style for the in game models.

The logo is even different from other Dragon Quest games. Even Builders didn't even have as drastic a redesign.
But the fact is they're not kids anymore. Like the games would not be appealing to a new generation of children where as 11 and 10 still did that.
They're JAPANESE adults, NOT WESTERNERS YOU STUPID FUCKING RETARD AUTIST CUNT. KILL YOURSELF.
