I never understood this dumb coomer meme besides originally being a discord narrative, where attractive-looking characters (especially female ones) in videogames are a no-no for some warped reason. Like what exactly is wrong with appreciating cuteness and beauty? Even normal people do prefer looking at pretty things.

Because moe blob garbage is associated with low quality anime and a general lack of care in animation techniques.

The popularity of moe took a notable decline of quality in what previous generations of anime were known for. Stories were usually ass, animation was not as refined, it had a clear intention to sell stuff to coomers. That's why people don't really like it. This also predates discord by more than a decade. It also came at the expense of sci-fi series and other genres that were what established anime's presence world wide. Moe was something viewed as a means to make a quick buck and nothing more.

A big basis for anime was that it was sci-fi or fantasy oriented and it attracted people who were already into those genres in other forms of media and this was from the early 80's into the 2000's. Coomers came much much much later and when they did they wanted everything to be fan service focused rather than having it be an occasional background element. Anime industry only started to really pull out of it at around 2016, but the shows are not quite up back to they were pre-moe.

Companies like ADV bit it a few years into the moe trend due to bringing over shows that nobody wanted, and shit was in decline for a good number of years. You had many companies try shit like Japanese pricing for US releases and other shit in the wake of the collapse. Sentai Filmworks never really reclaimed the prominence that ADV had.

So anything that coomers really grafted onto gained a negative reputation. It became pretty widespread to boot and caused a divide.

I mean I was mostly referring to designs of public venues like arenas and other places that house large events for entertainment, but it's not something that gets quoted often. People tend to avoid making reference to profiling, but it is something that's actually taken into consideration frequently.

Quebec didn't gain it's reputation for no reason.

He did do his research thoroughly IMO after watching most of the video, because there were many systems that were pioneered there. Similar to their hotel management services that originated from there and later spread to other places.

A mediocre superhero game, Persona 5 (it's on PS3), TLOU2 LOL, Uncharted 4 LOL, Death Stranding (it's on PC), Journey (it's on PS3), and SotC (a remake).

There are some good new exclusives, but you named maybe one (God of War).

The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush 2, Until Dawn, Killzone: Shadowfall, Bloodborne, and God of War are the only good true exclusives I can think of (not remake/port/remaster/reboot/soy). And some of these are even debatable as "good". Some people might try to fluff the list with mediocrity like Knack 2 but even then, for a Sony system to only have around a dozen or so truly new, good exclusives is pretty awful.

I'd be here for the rest of my life counting PS1, PS2, and even PS3 exclusives. I'd even bet PSP has more than that, and Vita probably at least comes close to matching it (which was a virtually unmarketed, unsupported, oddly named handheld).
