I remember when I was a retarded kid, my parents got me a copy of MGS2 from a flea market that was used, I put it in and was stuck on the main menu because I didn't know circle was the prompt to continue lmao. The disc was heavily damaged so the game froze right after, a couple years later I tried again and finally figured out it was circle (by mashing every button), sadly the disc was still shit and the game would freeze during the opening custscene.

Did PS3 have any good launch games? Maybe Resistance or NBA 2K7?


I miss the original PS3 game startup.

It's still present, that just doesn't solve the problem in most cases - any non-menu actions on those buttons would get swapped too, which most games didn't do between regions.
 
The whole mindless "switch O to X" thing is just to further spite the japanese lol.

I don't hate it. The japs have shat on the US and euro markets for so long, and in such egregious ways, this is just stupid and petty, like releasing an upgraded version of a game over here and then the japanese get it with an orchestral score and call it "international", at a discount (which is further delayed or not released at all overseas).

Resistance was ok, definitely had a really cool atmosphere, the campaign had alot of what felt like padding though with horrible vehicle sections. Motorstorm was meh, largely due to missing features and content you would expect. Genji Days of the Blade sure did have a giant enemy crab.

But who needs stuff like that when you have God Of Soy Ragnarok!

Forspoken has been delayed again and won't be out until some time in 2023.

It didn't look particularly interesting but it was PS5/PC exclusive so I'd imagine Sony won't be too happy.

I wonder if he realizes he'd be nowhere without his sister. Like if he didn't have her as the face, there's no way in hell he'd have gotten anywhere.

Either way I doubt he was allowed anywhere near anything important, but that doesn't exactly mean the team behind the game is any less wonky... just that he's overall worse.

I doubt he's not touching important shit. You know who the lead writer for the game is? A guy who has written nothing except Lost Planet 3, which sucked ass. Other than him we have
-Ethot who is a known plagiarist
-The living suicide prevention method that is Anthony Burch
-A bunch of pronounfags on twatter who are all women with no writing credits to their names
