I haven't played a new sonic game since the original generations but stuff like this upsets me. A friend was showing me the differences between the original and remaster, those changes to the scenes make characters so damn bland with them just standing there while talking. She was never in the games (aside from a cameo in spinball) because she was one of the DiC created characters. I think SEGA still owns the DiC characters though they don't seem to be aiming to ever work them into any lore retroactively for whatever reason. It's kind of like how nintendo owns bluster kong despite nelvana being the guys that made him for the DKC cartoon. The DKC cartoon is more accurate.canon to the games lore and character dynamic wise than the sonic DiC cartoons are despite the island not being called DK island. Doesn't mean the DiC sonic is bad that shit's great in terms of vidya spinoff material despite how fucking insanely different it is from the games. They fucking made a version of Puyo puyo with AoSTH robotnik being in it as the marketing premise, and the arcade game segasonic has unused SATAM robotnik sprites. I think that kind of shows at some point in time they appreciated the DiC cast. then again those were from before the penders shitshows too so that might have had a hand in everything lmao.

Yes, they are. But you do remember that the complaints about her fangirl behavior were a thing even back in the 2000s right?
