So some of you may remember Sonic Storm and it's nature as a barely disguised fetish sort of game. Well I've found another similar fangame by the name of Sonic Swap.
Sonic Swap is as of the time of writing, still in the concept phase. Currently being brainstormed by a 23 year old Australian Sonic fan by the name of DaBigChill.
The basic premise is similar to the Sonic Boom episode The Meteor, in which Sonic and Eggman swap bodies and have to find a way to return to normal. This time with Sonic and Amy, along with Tails and Rouge. Seems pretty innocent and even interesting, right?

Unfortunately this is not a perfect world.
Granted it's entirely possible that this guy is smart enough to not drag any of his fetishes into this game, but idk at this point.
Just get bad vibes that his project is going to explode into a quagmire of autistic drama for reasons similar to something like Changed.

That was the main issue, that and various other more minor issues, like how it was one of those "PS1 AESTHETIC" games despite it being pretty obvious it couldn't run on a PS1.

I'll never understand commonly known cool game development trivia stuff being framed as "SUPER OBSCURE!!!" There was a clickbait trend last year? or so that framed the Terios shit like it was the "REAL reason sega made the MISTAKE? of saying shadow looks like sonic!" Like less that Shadow originally looked like that and more framing it like that was a leftover from the Terios thing that was "ObScuRE" and "Made MORE SENSE!!!" You know, completely forgetting the CIA coverup of shadow's existence and the fact shadow literally is a recolored version of super sonic's model from the adventure games. Something you SEE IMMEDIATELY when they both go super in the final battle even if you never played adventure 1 or never saw the pre-06 3d super sonic design for some insane reason. Anyways shit was stupid fuck the current state of YT video essayists that cover gaming shit.
It's still weird to me how the Feel skin in the NSMB style sonic game I never got around to getting was just called "rabbit sonic". Like yeah it's TECHNICALLY the same guy but it's an earlier version that had a different name.
I mean naming a character "Feel" in the first place is a really odd choice but it's not really much weirder than Terios.
Hey, maybe we'll finally get a game at some point where you can play as the REAL OG sonic protagonist! You know, Pajama Eggman from when he was solely based on Theodore Roosevelt and not the bee costume minor enemy design or beatles reference final design and name that then got only more blatantly beatles-y after it hit the dreamcast redesign.

Fair point, I just have a bad feeling that he's gonna try to promote this game to a "wider audience" and we end up with another situation like Dragonsnow and his game Changed.

God IGN, you could at least be original and not read my posts on here.
Seriously though, There was nothing wrong with O.G. Generations that it needed a Shadow attachment like some tumor. I'll even go one step furthur and say Bowser's Fury could have been it's own thing and not attach itself to 3D World, which is a fine game on its own.

I've said before I was interested in a new chao garden game or similar gameplay with chaos on mobile. Will check it out if it does release. SEGA really was leaving money on the table for years, when they could've used chao as a good mobile game money avenue.
Also the guy who does lots of videos on chao garden made a video about the leak and also discussing chao having a role in new sonic generations game. As per a tweet from the official sonicJP twitter. New chao rescue missions in it.

If SEGA hadn't been talking about future Chao implementation in recent interviews I would've given up on the netflix game due to Midori being out as a fraud, but it still seems fairly likely..

The gameplay still looks good. But SEGA should at least make a discount for people who own the OG Generations.

why are they still using the same jump ball from Forces?, even more so when they're slapping the shadow content alongside the Generations remake and that proves that they have the assets for that game's jump ball right fucking there.

I'm not buying any Sonic games until Chao gardens make a proper return. I've been holding to that rule since Sonic '06, and I'm not changing that rule anytime soon.
